I have been to gay bars... It was funny as fuck...

I went with 2 straight friends, myself (straight incase you wondered) and my girlfriend...

My friends were hammered and went straight onto the dance floor and started dancing very camply. There was 2 guys kissing behind me, which was weird, but I weren't too bothered, I was in their club, plus I aint homophobic. They then joined my friends on the dance floor. 1 of my friends started dancing with them both, then pushed 1 away and danced with the other 1, the guy who got pushed away was proper pissed off and stormed out the club.... My friend (actually friend is a strong word) then pushed the guy away too... And had him trying to bother him all night...

Then my girlfriend joined them on the dance floor... A guy started chatiing to me... And asked who I was with .... I tried not to show my fear, and say my GIRLFRIEND, MY GIRLFRIEND... But I ended up saying.... oh... my two friends down there... AND MY GIRLFRIEND...

He said "all the fit 1's are straight....!"... I said... "Oh"...

And turned away... He then told me he was Bi and like 3somes.... I again said "Oh"... And retreated to my girlfriend pissing myself... Funny fucker... There was no chance... I can't see why women wanna sleep with men, we're disgusting, let alone men...

Anyway... I got majorly pissed and it was a fucking funny night, I recomend it, aslong as you can stomach the kissing and you don't get offeneded if they chat you up... (or don't)...

A lot of my girlfriend's family are gay... So I am cool with it.

You're uncomfortable because of the homosexuality and your friend, the friend who came to you for help, the friend who's been relying on you, is homosexual.

Not really hard to understand why he would take it personally.

Gotta agree.

I think you should just go...you can always walk back out if you hate it. I've been to a gay bar...it was fun.

I don't see why anyone who is comfortable with their sexuality or with other ppls....would be uncomfortable. That's just me...maybe I'm wrong.

An important point... Myself, knowing I'm 100% straight, no ifs or buts... I find it funny if a gay guy hits on me... And I feel no problems in a gay bar....

Maybe I am just immature...

lol. good story

but the difference here is that you had a couple of straight people with you, and i reckon that made all the difference. if i had another straight person tag along, id be cool with it. does this make sense??

Read his fucking post. What else would he be uncomfortable about? Is the bar located in a bad neighborhood? The cousin is a mass murderer? Or is he afraid of being seen at a gay bar? Is he afraid of getting hit on by gay men? Maybe he would rather stay far away from gay people because that's just not him.
you must be gay

what i meant to say in my statement is that i was shocked and disappointed that the dude was gay but since you did not figure out what i was trying to say,its safe to say that you are a damb ass, maybe you are gay too

If I was gay... I'd be replying with this too.

Y'all are getting bent out of shape.

If you're not comfortable, don't go. Ask your friend if he would want to spend the entire night doing something that he can't really participate in and enjoy. Then tell him to fuck off for being unappreciative for all the support you've given him.
i did't read this entire thread but this is the samrtest reply i've seen so far. why would your friend want to force you into doing something you weren't comfortable with? especially after the support you've given him. i would do exactly what AM says here. ask him how he would feel if the shoe was on the other foot, if it was you wanting him to do something he doesn't wat to do, then tell him to quit being such an ungrateful asshole.

have you told your friend this? maybe you should tell him that you'll go only if there is another straight person with you.
