Gas Prices are fucking ridiculous

I live in Southern California and I have to say that I hate gas prices. Last night I spent $52 filling my tank up and I was furious. I can't believe it a galloon costs two dollars and thirty-eight cents. I am pissed off beyond belief.

The bullshit thing is that we are not short on oil, we got the midde east and now we are goin to start drilling in alaska. With all this bullshit we are doing, at least bring down gas prices.

$2.17 is the average around here. I used to fill up my tank completely, but now I just fill it up half way because it'd depress me to see it say over $50.00. It costs $25.00 to fill it up half way. My average for the past 6 months or so to fill up my tank has been a steady $38.00. While it's high to some people, I've gotten used to it having a v8.

u're all like little sissies. better count how much of liters (equivalent in gallons) u can buy for your monthly wage. where i live 1 liter costs about 1.03 $ so that would be about 4 $ one gallon. and i don't want even to compare our wages. all i gotta say you americans should be very very satisfied with what u got :D

2.33 cents here.(93 octane premium).

I dont worry too much on the gas because of the car i drive.

Car: 2005 Chrysler 300C AWD.

Refills: every 3 days and 42 bucks for full refill.

If you're refilling every 3 days, you need to re-evaluate your A to B trips. I fill up twice a week (once at the beginning and once at the end) and I average probably 300 miles per week. Even driving 300 miles per week is a lot. At your rate you are probably averaging 2,000 miles AT LEAST per month. That's not 'healthy' for a car and it will age quickly.

If you wanna moan, come to the UK.

I pay the equivilent of $8 a gallon. I run my car on super unleaded. And I get 18mpg.

Think about how much my car costs to run. I also have to pay $320 a year road tax and $2000 insurance.

Go Pittsey. The US peeps just never look over the borders, really, in Europe the prices are way higher cause of the taxes mainly and you know what, I don't think it's a bad thing. If there would be the same prices in the US our nature would be thankful.

The only city i've been to in England is London so I dont really know too much about how cities are in England. But doesnt most of the population live in actual cities? Where stuff is closer and you can go and walk to places, kinda like NYC? But still the prices are too much over there.

0.90$ in Quebec...it's waaaaaaay too much... to the dude that said "Thing i dont get is now the U.S controls most of the oil from the middle east, why is the price goin up and up, damn greedy..."

The compagnies control the oil not the gouvernement...besides that was like the reason of the war in Iraq :)

that's pretty much why they can get away with chargin so much. England is about a 1/12 (this figure is of the top of my head) the size of Calirfonia. so we don't need as much relatively
