My BMI is 25.3. 12% Body Fat. I never trust this shit though. If you just use BMI most athletes are considered obese, so it's weird like that.

do i look like i'm measuring my waistband?

too complicated.

ive noticed that same thing... i think BMI is useless. Body Fat % seems to make more sense.
i'm no expert on this shit, but knowing the BMI of course isn't enough. i think that was just someone who had a smart idea and started bringing BMI into marketing ploys to sell more healthy food or some shit, and the public took off with it. you need more than one number to get an accurate idea. it's like trying to figure out a type of rock using only it's color.

yeah to get an accurate reading you have to measure your wrists and all kinds of other shit, its more of a doctors job than an internet site job, but hell it got me unbored for a second. even if it made me feel like an anorexic fatass.

^^i have a 32 inch waist.

These things are a load of shit. According to these BMI ratings, a guy who is short in height but well built is overweight. I will post picks to prove that im not that fat lol

yeah, i agree. calculating bmi just from your height and weight isn't enough and very often incorrect. i got my bmi at 28, but i don't consider myself neither obese nor overweight at all. i barely even got any fat on my belly, waist size comes from my total body height.

Technically he IS overweight though. Just because its muscle instead of fat it doesn't automatically mean he's not over weight.

according to this... my BMI is 25.7, which makes me overweight. And my Body fat % is 4.5, which makes me underweight.
man, that's bullshit and u know it. unless you compete in fitness competitions. only bodybuilders maintain 3-4 % body fat and that's only in a short period of time, just before contests. your bmi is too low for a bodybuilder, so maybe only fitness. such a low body fat percentage could be maintained, but your bmi should be much lower and your metabolism should be at the very high level.

hence why i said, according to this. i take this quiz with a grain of salt. i have been in a gym for several several months, not quite a year. when i started, i had a 12% body fat [they actually have a machine to test it, not your waist and height n such] i was like damn thats a lot.. my goal was to get it down to 7% because Stone Cold Steve Austin was 7% body fat in The Condemned. I set myself to that goal, and I achieved it. I got my body fat down to 6.8%. After that, I said hell I'm on a roll, I'll try for five. I havent tested it in forever now, but I know there is no way it is 4.5%, if anything, it's prolly went up.

i wasn't saying this test was right... read carefully hun.
