All I heard all day at work was people bitch about how long it was gonna take to get home cause we got like 6 inches of snow. I live about 15 minutes from work and I somehow still got home in only 18 minutes today. I just drove down the middle of the highway around cars until I reached my exit. Then it took me 10 minutes from there to get home down a side street.

Lucky me! I get home in less than half the time I should of! Oh yeah.. except I get fucking STUCK TURNING ON MY STREET! So that takes me a damn near hour to get out of. Fuck the plow people for not doing a good enough job on the street. Fuck one plow guy in particular for driving up the street 20 seconds after I get stuck. Fuck my car.

Shout out to some guy who lives on my street for helping me out of that whole fucking mess. Shout out to some random guy who ran over from down the street with a shovel to help also.

Fuck the snow.

LOL I'm impressed at myself at how well I drive in snow. :) I never get stuck.
But I'm glad it's all gone...I think we're getting more this weekend.

The traffic here is RIDICULOUS. I know people that left work at 3 and still haven't gotten home. And it would usually take them 15-20 minutes. Here we are almost 5 hours later and they are minutes from work where they left.

My girlfriend left work when I did at 5. It's 7:40 now and she's 2 minutes away from work still on the highway with less than a quarter tank of gas. At this rate, she'll get home in 12 hours. The plows can't get on the highways cause people are all over it. There's shitloads of people broken down and others who ran out of gas. Now it's up to 9" of snow.

Linx they don't put out a weather advisory when the roads get bad?
They do. It's just a fucking mess and then some. People I know that are stuck in traffic haven't moved in over an hour. And it took them 3 hours to get to that spot when on a normal day it would take them literally 3 minutes.

Is it cus you guys arent used to getting much snow or what? I hardly see people get stuck or run out of gas
We get good amounts in the winter every year usually. They just didn't prepare for it like they should of. They knew days ago that it would be like this. Then it started today and no plows did shit. One guy called in the news and said he was an ambulance in his rear view approaching him and it took that ambulance 45 minutes just to pass him, lol.

Agreed, but when it's almost a foot and still snowing hard.. it's not easy to drive in. Not when there's a bunch of idiots on the road.
Ahh yeah I hear ya. I live on the Canadian prairies so most years its winter hear from ~mid October till sometime in March, and its just like as soon as there is snow on the ground people feel the need to drive 10km under the speed limit everywhere. Shit is just ridiculous.
