Survey: Fla. Teens Believe Drinking Bleach Will Prevent HIV
Some Teens Also Believe Mountain Dew Will Stop Pregnancy

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A recent survey that found some Florida teens believe drinking a cap of bleach will prevent HIV and a shot of Mountain Dew will stop pregnancy has prompted lawmakers to push for an overhaul of sex education in the state.

The survey showed that Florida teens also believe that smoking marijuana will prevent a person from getting pregnant.

State lawmakers said the myths are spreading because of Florida's abstinence-only sex education, Local 6 reported.

They are proposing a bill that would require a more comprehensive approach, the report said.

It would still require teaching abstinence but students would also learn about condoms and other methods of birth control and disease prevention.

The bill just passed its first vote in a committee, Local 6 reported.

Caffeine affects your sperm count. It's not the same for everyone. If you already have a low sperm count, it could heighten it, or if you have a normal sperm count it could lower your sperm count. The effect is very much up to individuality.

Mountain Dew contains caffeine. It's not just a myth, just a very big misconception. The same goes for coke.

The bleach thing is just stupid though. The HIV virus lives inside your cells. Sure, trillions of dollars in funds devoted to research haven't found a cure yet, but a sip of bleach, np.

What the fuck is wrong with people.

Citizens in fucking Somalia even know better...
Actually, I've heard stories from "Africa" (yeah, whoever told the story was that general about it, but it initiated in the news) about men raping new-born babies to rid themselves of aids.

Yeah, that's in Kenya. It was in the news not long ago. I'd understand coming from poorer countries though, where there is a lack of proper education, but coming from the USA... This is ridiculous.

caffene lowers the count what the fuck
caffeine, you know the shit that's in coffee? it lowers the sperm count. a stain of cum contains a liquid that sperm cells can move around in, as well as the sperm cells themselves. lowering the sperm count means that there will be a lower amount of sperm cells in a stain of cum compared to somebody else's equally large stain. it means that statistically, the distance between each single sperm cell is larger, and that the amount of sperm cells is lower than normal when you ejaculate.

it means that your sperm is less potent.

i don't know any other ways to explain it. it lowers the sperm count. the amount of sperm becomes lower. "what the fuck" is not a remark you use when something seems a little off, it's something you say when someone is completely off the mark. i fail to see what you're getting at. what's "what the fuck" about that?

^I think that conclusion is based off of very few studies, so I wouldn't spread it around as fact really.
even if it is true, it certainly shouldn't be used as a birth control method. it's like smoking cigarettes, they CAN cause cancer, but just because you smoke doesn't mean you WILL get cancer.
