First Single (Feat. Bone Thugs) (Radio Rip)

OK, now, we have people loving and hating the song, some saying pac didnt want it this way, some say we will never know and we should live wit it and that pac made songs for the masses, others say stop complaining while other hate complaining people complaining about people who complain.

I of course will add and reiterate whats been said, and pretend I know what pac would have wanted,F**k it, I have nothing better to do anyways. so sue me...

Thought 1:
The track is cool, if pac was alive, I can definetly see him spitting over this.....but..

Thought 2:
Theme of lyrics dont meet the song, what the hell were they thinking, this gets me thinking on wether these people listen to the message Pac is trying to drive to the people and how he used to do it. Look through his tracklisting of past records,,

For yall who so love this track, who the f**k in their right minds is going to listen and try to understand the following line, IN A CLUB.

"only wish to breed
I explode into a million seeds y'all remember me
Legendary live eternally then bury me in pieces"

S**t people, think about it, oh how I wish Shed So Many Tears had a club version,oh oh oh,,wish My Only Fear of Death, had a remix I could bump in the club with my drunk buddies..

Thought 3:
speaking about buddies, people are sayin Pac made his music for the Masses, yeah ok,,AEOM was made for the masses ok,,but did Pac make all his records for the Masses,,now lets think bout that for a second,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,NO!!!!...after Pac came from Jail he needed to make a huge impact, he was broke, so he stuffed the album wit Calilove etc (club bangers),,,,now I beleive afta Pac felt he had his money, he went back to his roots,Pre-AEOM,,he went back to MATW,,,who here is going to tell me that MDK7 was made for the masses???? Nobody,,Pac made feel music,,,and he knew it would reach the masses since everyone can relate to it..like he says when he says somthing like "im going c----r---a--z--y", it reaches people, other who dont understand will drop it after a while but those who took the time to listen (away from the club) at his lyrics will know exactly what he is talking about......

in summary,,I think Pac could have spit over this track,,,i dont see why not,,,,but he wouldnt have tried to be deep about..so the track is CRAP!!!!!!!!,,in that respect.

PEACE and LOVE

this is my first post in months,, maybe years... for people who know me, sorry I been away but I still got the follow-up grand finale sequel to Mission of a Soldier, Legend of a Prophet, and Exodus on the way. I just got a kid on the way now, so things have been crazy... due in the middle of March 2007. tia, it's very good news!

anyway, I am actually feelin this song. at this point in my life it almost pains me to continue listening to the same 20th century Pac songs I've heard for over a decade now. I've just heard the beats and/or acapellas too many times with the 9+ remix/dj albums I've made in my day. but as a DJ this is a song I could actually play in the club for 19 year old white bitches to dance to. is this a good thing? debatable. it definitely will get the crowd involved and a smile on any Pac fan's face who is a current club-go'er. I understand if you're takin it easy and not a club person but nowadays in the club OG type Pac songs would make everybody up in the club boo you off and leave, this is not arguable. unless you're talking about the 30+ year old Pac t-shirting wearing fan club. the young clubbers wanna hear Nitty, Diddy, Young Dro, TI, and The Game, Pussycat Dolls, whatever, you get the idea - like it or not this is the case, guys.

so let's face it - unarguably, this will be making money for the Foundation, which is a good thing regardless. people will buy the album with hot new artists and producers on it, wether or not it's what "he would have wanted." I think we can all agree he would have wanted a fatter check for his Foundation and his estate. you really think they're gonna be able to sell any copies with any *other* producers (besides the OG producers, which is a lost cause for those of us without the OGs already) other than the current club rocking big names, especially considering all the Pac album flops they've dropped on us post-2000? not to mention the most recent Eminem fiasco. who knows, but it's doubtful.

what is truly tragic is that in the first single, that Ashanti single, PAC'S LIFE, Pac's first verse is off-beat. I saw someone else mention this. what the FUCK. as a producer, this makes me want to find Afeni personally and ask her to let ME mix the stupid fucking track, this is retarted, HOW HARD IS IT TO GET PAC VERSES RIGHT AND ON BEAT? Eminem fucked it up, they fucked it up on Ev They Owe on UTEOT, shit, if you're gonna fuck it up either way then whatever, just release the acapella and the instrumental and I'll fix it for my own use. they have yet to do this for any of the fucked up tracks, thank goodness people like myself, Dante, and many others bootleg "fixed" versions.

besides that, I'm looking forward to the album. keep posted in the coming months on this board for news about my new Gemini double cd mixed album, but no date or anything for that yet... definitely after this retail album rel. hope you all are doing well.

Welcome back. Yes the ashanti track is shit and I wish you were mixing it to be honest. It's really pathetic. It's good to hear about the new mixes you are putting out. I bought all your albums from you and I love them. Looking forward to the new project.

There is a CDQ rip out. I would post it but my connection is capped. This is a little odd, a bit too cut up for a Tupac song, but its still sounds good. Everyone is waiting and expecting another "Toss It Up" or "California Love" it ain't going to happen.
