something i had been meaning to do for a long time...

the uteot remix version of this song is hot as hell, but due to someone's mistake in the mixing process the vocals are horribly off tempo, and the song is unlistenable. only on clean pressings is this song on beat, however the lyrics are edited. you used to have to stomach the edits in order to listen to this song... that is until now.

i mixed he vocals and uteot instrumental over again - this time keeping it on beat (shame on you, sound boy). the only sacrifice was the uteot hook, which had to go. no big loss there. anyway, i'm posting this in life because it's not a remix of my own technically, plus it's a song we have long waited for a fix to since the mistake on the release. seems like amaru just washed their hands of the mistake and moved on. for that reason, this posting also is an exception to the retail rule. untagged will likely find its way to ogv5.

Whoa shit, now i know why i unconsciously skip this track all the time. I've always liked the beat and pac's verses but i kept skippin the track. Dante, i think you should take the cpu pella or whatever u used to mix this and use it the whole way through starting from the beginning of the track. That way the clarity of the intro doesn't supersede the rest of the vocals. Just a suggestion that i think would make it even better. Thanks for the drop.

the intro doesn't gen very well on the og... also there's some weird shit happening in the explicit album version that makes genning very hard. i could just loop in the inst no problem. i'll listen to it and decide before i settle on a final mix.
