Tupac Knew Exactly what he wanted to say in his songs, and he did it flawlessly. I am sure he would pick a subject to write about and do it, based on his own experience.

hey einsteins i was talking about the whole deal with ppl taking bits and piecs out of pac's lyrics and analyzing them until the finally can form it into some sort of alive theory.

no shit pac knew what he said...but he sure as hell didn't think ( while he was high and drunk writing)..."boy, if i write 'a heart of a soldier with the brains to teach a whole nation', ppl will think that this is a reference to machiavelli or jesus, because after i die, i'm going to resurrect my body."

i'm not minimalizing what pac said and what his words mean...all i'm saying is that alive theorists look too deep into pac's lyrics for clues and miss the point of the song. peace.

2pac drinking and smoking.. dude u might as well say he never thought then.. because he had to drink and smoke just to maintain.. there always had to be something in him and he was always having to be high.. trust me.. watch thug angel.. it helped him think in some cases.... wierd but true..... to say "he sure as hell didnt think" is stupid.. high or not.. just stupid... 'a heart of a soldier with the brains to teach a whole nation'.... that was a lame example....

whatever, i mean, i have my opinion and u have yours. i have seen the thug angel dvd and i also saw where karen lee was saying that when he was in jail and wasn't smoking his mind was much clearer and shit. the smoking and drinking really dont have a lot with what im trying to say, its just that i'm saying that ppl take his lyrics out of context in order to get some alive theory. and actually i took that example from this site's alive theories so whatever.

but to me, its like ppl are shittin on pac's legacy sometimes by overanalyzing what he was conveying in his songs. i'm not trying to diminish pac in any way but he was an entertainer who told stories on the mic that touched a lot of hearts. when ppl look past his music for some alive theory, that to me is just stupid.

haha... i would have said the same exact thing.. couldnt say it better myself... ppl like tha don ugk is a perfect example of who take his lyrics in the wrong way... all i wuz trying to state is that he was always drugged up and that his lyrics still did mean something deep... people do use his words and twist them around and its stupid... i guess i reacted to your statement wrong, peace

I agree with that and felt that way for a while.
