Driving Test

The strategy with multiple choice questions is the process of elimination. Middle school shit. Plain and simple and especially if it's a good test because it's hard to know which answer is 100% right. Even if you know the answer, you will look at the other answers to eliminate them just to be sure; especially if the test is important.

Knowing the answer is knowing the answer. Elimination does not necessarily conclude to actually knowing the answer.

If you know the answer, you could've gotten it right on an open question.

Granted, though, a large part of multiple choice solving is elimination.

learning to drive here in the uk is expensive. i spent £40 a week for five months having double lessons every week, plus paying the test fees when i took tests, bought my first car then had to insure it, wouldn't have done it if i didn't save up 2 grand in the process beforehand otherwise

bah in Canada it's fairly easy for the written multiple choice test it's more the actual driving practice test that is harder.

anyhow i'd still be glad. i'm 20 and i feel like a retard not to already have my license.

I got my G2 at 22 when everyone else got their full G license at 21.

I actually failed my parallel parking portion of my test but the instructor was so cool that she passed me. Tip when taking your driving test: Joke with your instructor if they seem like a cool person, they'll possibly let shit slide.

lol yea, its so easy. sometimes i messed up on it because missing the actual reference point for turning because the car in front was smaller. but its actually very very easy!

one thing im glad i did was master the manouvers - ewll not master, just perfect the techniques for the test.

I've never had to parallel park since i went for drivers test 3 years ago. I didn't realize getting a license in Europe was that hard. 50 theory questions? The fuck? lol

first thing i did on my driving test was to try and set off from the test centre without the car even being in gear :D i was thinking why isn't it moving? lol. i had to deal with a moped driver on a national speed limit road, i over took the moped at 50mph and immediatley entered into a 30 zone and slammed on the anchors, and left my right signal on for what seemed like ages. i hit the curb when pulling over, but it was a slanted kurb to someones driveway so i think i just got a minor for that, was stuck behind a cyclist for ages before i could take over it, motherfucka might have well of been in the centre of the lane. the theory test was easy

^ Miracle that you passed

I remembering finding out after half a mile I didn't have my seatbelt on. Pulled the car over, saw the examinator looking like "wtf" and then cheekisly announced I wasn't wearing a belt. He laughed and complimented me on pulling the car over properly, lawl.

i think it helped that i dressed smartly for the test :)

edit: and yes, cost was a big concern to me, i told my driving instructor i wanted to pass both tests first time, i did. thanks to her and her 8 years experience at being a driving instructor, i never crossed the line to fail the test. she did bollock me for speeding on my lessons though :D

yea its good when they are harsh on you in the lessons and tell you off, because it keeps you in line. otherwise you'll be shocked when you find out the mistakes you make in the actual test.

Is this a big deal in other countries? I got like -2 pts for making a wide right turn and that was it. You have to run someone over to fail here.

2 were worded weird and i didn't have the patience b/c i knew i could miss like 6 anyway. 1 i missed by mistake.
