to be honest, i had just gotten into 2pac; i only had the "how do u want it" single and nothing more than that. i didn't even know he had been shot.

then i was upstairs in my parents house and my brother was watching MTV and MTV news came on. (i remember it said 1970-1996.)

that was about it; i clipped the article from the Washington Post the next day, and after that it was on. i soon after bought AEOM.

btw, i love nas and all, but what the fuck is he wearing in that video?

i had also just gotten into pac's music.... i was in the 8th grade, sittin at my friend matt's (who is currently incarcerated) drinkin some vladimir vodka and smokin a blunt.. and even though i had just gotten into pac, i could tell how much of a loss it was not only to the hip hop world, but to the world in general

I knew who 2pac was at the time but i didn't have any of his cds. I was young i was like 7 years old and i walked downstairs into the family room and my parents were watching the news and they were talking about it and they asked me if i knew who he was and i said yea and then i don't remember what happened after that.

I had no idea who 2pac was at that time.
In early 90's there was no American music here yet,
It all started with coco-jambo era tracks:D
But I first encountered Pac in about 98-99.

Yeah, Sundays were always the hard days at school for some reason...

I was only like 5 years old lol. But one time I was talking about Pac with my uncle and he said that I was at his house watching the Tyson-Sheldon fight. Kinda weird.

I was sitting my my couch....flipping channels....an came to the news, and it was the end of them giving out news, just before a commercial, and the news chick said, "He was only 25 years old"...and it was video of tupac... let's just say, I sat there without blinking until the news came back on....it took them another 5 minutes to get through their other news crap before they reporting on pac again.... I was fucking upset as fuck...my brother smashed his biggie CD, it was a fucked up day....wore black to school for the next few days.....

rip pac
