Just Somethin Ive Been Thinkin About This Past Week.
I Know Mack Was Just Blowin Up Around The Time Pac Died.
Just Wonderin If They Met At Any Death Row Parties. Anybody Out There Got Any Info On That
That Would've Been A Nice Callabo If Pac Was still Around.
Exactlly. Pac was upset that Ice Cube and Westside Connection jumped on the whole West Side thing and came out with "Bow Down" AFTER he dropped "Hit 'Em Up." Pac was saying that if they were so into it, then why didn't they say that stuff while he was in jail.
it's not like there was beef. cube has confirmed 3 recorded tracks with pac, at least one probably during the death row days. cube and dre were some of the founders of pac's west coast style - and although he took issue with both of them he still knew what side his bread was buttered on.
Yeah, in that interview I would hardly say he ripped on him, considering he said he loves Cube, but he felt the whole Westside Connection album was capitalizing on the DR/Bad Boy-East/West beef going on at the time. I'd hardly call that real beef.
I once read somewhere that 2pac wanted to make 'Hit em Up' a real westcoast song diss to the eastcoast so he wanted Ice Cube and a few more on it but they weren't down with it and Fatal wanted to be on it so pac just made it a 2pac & Outlawz song.

cube confirmed them, but wouldn't reveal the titles. he said he'd never use them because he didn't want to use pac's name for a paycheck. respectable stance.
