Did Makaveli diss Dr. Dre on Can't C Me?

#1
"Niggaz shoulda never put my rhymes with Dre..."

There is a line something like that on the track. Is it a subliminal diss because I thought Cant C Me was a Dre beat, that's why I'm asking.

No, he's just saying that the combination of Pac lyrics and Dre beats is crazy, and that people can't handle it. Kind of like how when people piss you off and then you're about to kick their ass, you go, "You shouldn't have fucked with me, now I'm gonna fuck you up." Kind of like that, I guess. But in song form.

Man, no offense, but some of you people ask some pretty dumb questions. Think for a moment, why would Pac be dissing the guy who produced the song? Does that make any sense to you? I can't believe you couldn't figure that out for yourself.

Y'know I thought the whole point of the song Can't C Me was that Pac was dissing his enemies, but they didn't really know what his true intentions were so they couldn't retaliate. So I figure he could have been dissing Dre but Dre was blind to the diss cus he couldn't see Pac's true intentions. Basically the kinda deep shit you only think about after a couple of blunts.
I only bring this up cus the other day when I was fucked up and listening to this CD, I totally forgot it was released before Toss It Up and I totally thought he was dissing Dre, like calling him Big Baby and shit. I dunno I'm probably reading too much into this. Just food for thought though.

It could have been a diss, as in saying "the record company shouldn't have forced 2Pac to feature with Dr Dre on a song", but in this way he is giving Dre props, and saying the result of 2Pac over a Dre beat is amazing.

Wow, you got him. Now everyone thinks he's a dumbass and your really cool. *sarcasm intended.

I wasn't trying to be cool, or make him look like a dumbass. I just don't know why he couldn't figure this out for himself. And why did you single me out of everyone else who made posts mocking him like deuce 7 and bastin872. If people stopped to think about things they wouldn't have to post questions like this.

This is retarded. Pac idolized Dre until they had beef--and they didn't have beef during the AEOM sessions. And if I remember correctly, this was originally a dogg pound beat and Pac wanted it.

I musta seen this question a THOUSAND times over the years lol...

It is beyond belief to think that Pac would diss Dre whilst Dre was PRODUCING the track, it makes no sense at all....

for me its obvious that he wasnt dissin dre on cant c me...but its obvious too that is way possible for an mc to diss the producer.. whats so wrong about that??!! u never know whats going on...subliminar shit... that was a fuckin question on a fuckin regular thread, fuck haters...who made the thread??! ohh, a newbie, then he is a dumb ass

It has nothing to do with him being a newbie, but come on man. Name one instance where a rapper dissed the producer of the song he's rapping on. It's never happened. It would be a dumb question regardless of who asked it. All I ask is that people use common sense before posting questions.
