nothing wrong man, no drugs, I swear I can just see the colours in the song. I can visualise em so clearly like they're infront of my eyes all over blinding my vision

lord knows - this colour is like the wasps back, black and yellow. all mixed up and murky

shed so many tears and unconditional love are the same blood red with elements of black in the background somewhere trying to push out

troublesome album version is a beautiful green, I really like that colour kind of like grass green. if i could smell the songs then i would smell compost with this song. the colour reminds me of wet grass the real dark kind

life goes on is illuminous green a really peaceful colour right their, its like the cut grass colour with sun shining on it really illuminous type

kid you not people, have we got any psychologists in the house :(
ya i know what you are talking about i can somewhat see it too. theres a name for this but i cant remember what. its when ppl can coordinate colors with things. like we see March as Green (st. patricks day), october as orange (holloween), etc. i'll try to see if i can find out what this is called.

I always see songs in color. I think of certain colors when I hear a song. And then when I see the video, the colors are different than what were in my head and that's kind of annoying. The same applies for album covers. If I listen to an album before I see the cover, I get an overall theme color in my head, and then is changed when the album cover is released. For example, with a song I'm listening to right now (Feel It In The Air, Beanie Sigel) I see the colors dark blue and a light green/teal. Then say I'm listening to Only You by Ashanti I see metallic silver. And for people who don't understand, this doesnt ruin the song for us. We can still listen to the music and understand words and get the overrall theme, its just colors we see in our head that go along with the music. Have you ever played music in Windows Media Player with those colors that change? It's kind of like that in a way.

To who started the thread: I used to think I was alone on this, but I saw on TV once about some guy who remembers songs through colors. Slightly different than myself, but they went in detail about the connection between color and music. I can't remember now, but I'll google it.

Not the same as seeing colours in songs but when listening to a song I can see how the video would be. An example is Better Dayz being a vid of Pac back in the ghetto (if he hadnt became famous) trying to survive each day. I guess Im not as creative as you colour guys.

not creative or anything at the time. but when I listen to a track the colour comes to my head within 10 secs. its completely involuntary. my mind just starts visualising it. the my block on better dayz is one of those tracks that the colour comes straight away the intensity is really strong. once i have visualised a colour for a song i can never visualise any other colour when listening to that song. it just isn't natural

that's exactly what im talking about. as the song goes on, you just keep seeing that colour in your mind. certain songs i get certain arrangemetns. the colours be arranged in a certain pattern.

and to pacaveli, the only pinkish type song i have is ja rules put it on me. bordering on red. i haven't seen any videoes to most of these tracks

i dont have any 'excuses' but ive got a creative mind :)
When most people visulaize something from a song they "paint" pictures of what is going on with multiple colors and movement, so, i wouldn't really call your mind creative.

err, ok, maybe this occurence doesn't satisfy the criterias for saying you got a creative mind. but my assertion wasn't based on this one little thing alone.

So i do have a creatvie mind

A couple of months ago I made a thread called "Seein Colours" on the Street Hop forum and a lot of people called me crazy. But in my head I see colours when I listen to music as well.

This thread's concept has been stolen from me. I feel more violated than Gavin Arvizo :(

Rayza, i remember ya post thats why i checked this thread out, about a year ago i finished a directing course somewhat and they talked about this colour process, like Big E say with the videos. i think next time you listen to a song/single and you know if its gon have a video, try and visualise the colours before, like most proberly do with a 2Pac song you imagine how the video would be and some would imagine the colour thing, its interesting i think to see if what you think colourwise is the same as when a video come out.
anyway, not really ken, your not the only one i to see colours lol.

what ya phone number - is a orgy of colours cant really put my finger on one colour

Dose it resemble Vomit? Cause I sware that is about the only 2pac song I could go for the rest of my life withought hearing! lol

interesting way to look at things I have never really done what you are talking about, but Sometimes the Actull beat makes pictues in my head of usualy Round shapes or Lines in diffrent Colors.

Kanye West says this is how he "See's Music" also and has even made some Paintings of his songs! they kind of look like a Audio Edditing Program.
