OK, I know this might sound a little weird to some of you but it is exactly what I feel and see. I can mostly see this in 2pac songs . Since I don't really ever pay attention to no other rap but 2pac and even that i'm trying to let go of but its a little addicitve i can see and just visualise and associate colours with pac tracks

ambitions as a rida - definately a black song with elements of blood red thrown about all over

all about u- first 2pac track i ever hear in summber 96 and i remember from then that this is a light blue a really soft light blue. i really like this colour its almost like the bmw m3 blue (estoril blue)

skandalouz - this is an odd one its silver and foil coloured all over

how do u want it - slightly darker than all about u but its still the same type of blue (never seen the video)

only god can judge me - this is another blue song kind of a plain blue not light or dark

i ain mad at cha - definately black with elements of red

what ya phone number - is a orgy of colours cant really put my finger on one colour

makaveli album is more yellow and orange

hail mary- is a murky dirty yellow

live and die in la - is a bright bright yellow

and blasphemy is a navy blue

krazy is orangy

me and my girlfriend is dark green with bits of black all over

hold ya head is purple with a white background

against all odds is light grey. light grey but not anywhere near white

nothing wrong man, no drugs, I swear I can just see the colours in the song. I can visualise em so clearly like they're infront of my eyes all over blinding my vision

lord knows - this colour is like the wasps back, black and yellow. all mixed up and murky

shed so many tears and unconditional love are the same blood red with elements of black in the background somewhere trying to push out

troublesome album version is a beautiful green, I really like that colour kind of like grass green. if i could smell the songs then i would smell compost with this song. the colour reminds me of wet grass the real dark kind

life goes on is illuminous green a really peaceful colour right their, its like the cut grass colour with sun shining on it really illuminous type

fuck you on about my 15 year old friend. 2pac is the only rapper worth listneing to from day muthafucking one. Im trying to stop listneing to him and I have cut down so much. If i didnt listen to 2pac from before then I wouldnt listen no rap period. couple of mainstream tracks here and there do me fine. thats just me. i dont drink or take drugs. this thread is serious as fuck.

Staring through the rearview is a heavy blue, Me against the World and Temptations are a golden, orangeiy brown and I aso see To live and Die in L.A as a bright ass yellow and Ambitionz as a ridah as a Dimmly lit track, however All About You is more of a creamy bright white. Lost soul's is a beautifu blue-similar to baby blue and Brenda's Got a Baby is a silvery grey, very similar to Wassup Wit Tha Luv.

I do visual arts so I have my reason/excuse for seeing my music, whats yours ?

yeah golden would be a good way of describing me against the world.

but temptations is never orangey or browney. its more white with splashes of colours in the bacground which i cant really make out but its dirtying up the white at the front

i dont have any 'excuses' but ive got a creative mind

nope i cant see this. i can see a strong element of black with other colours which there aren't really any names for they like an orgy of loads of colours i can see them as dots all over the place

this is some good shit Illumi... its exactly sounds like what i go through. certain songs i can almost smell. thats only when the colour represents something which has a distinctive smell. eg. the life goes on song is the same colour as freshly cut grass with loads of sun shining on it. and the troublesome 96 track is like the same colour as really long wet grass. when the colour is the same as something with a distinctive smell i can feel as if i can smell that thing.

One of the reason's that I do not to like listening to Temptations is because I see the colours as very dirty and congested.

i dont have any 'excuses' but ive got a creative mind

Make sure that you don't turn your back on this talent of yours, cutivate it because I to have a creative mind and it teaches me soooo much and without it I would go bald and woud not have to spend time shaving my head.

Yes, I see alot of black in there as well as almost a explosion of colours as though a world was being born. However I have the video image burned in my head which I believe is why I primarilly associate grey with Brenda.

lol, i can really relate to that description. there's a strong black and an orgy of colours that are mixed up. they're not your orthodox green, blue , red etc. but just an explosion of loads of colours.i havent seen the video

i mostly listen to 2pac and i can see the colours with him all the time. but there are songs here and there from otehr rappers that i might catch on tv and i can really see colours with them to.

ja rules put it on me is probably one of my favourite colours. if you know what strawberry chewits look like then have you seen the red on those. they come half red and half white. the red on them its what the 'put it on me' track looks like as a colour.

its a really beautiful red that i can visualise really shiny, like paint shines. that kind of shiny red. the black is the dominant colour though in the background
