I remember a few years ago a few of us were asking what Chris Tuckers been up to and whatnot. Well recently I found out he's going on tour this year and he has a bunch of schedule stand up shows coming up.

I'm gonna catch him in AC September 2nd.

Here's the full list of his shows, for anyone that still cares:

I'm so excited to finally see him.

For some reason the def comedy jam made me think of the guy who would say hamburger after every line. I do it from time to time but no one knows :( hamburger.

All the comedians are doing this now.

Lil Duval, Shawn and Marlon Wayans, and now Chris Tucker.

I think it's their way of reminding people how funny they really are so they can get more money for shows.

It's working for Kevin Hart, now he's getting $ and he wasn't shit before.

I used to love that guy. I'd pay 50 bucks to see him. If he still has it I think I wouldn't regret it at all.
Shame it's US only.

I'd pay 1000$ to see Jim Carrey.

I would drop $100 to watch Ricky Gervais. Not sure if he is to England what Dane Cook is to the US (shit) but I always found his stand up to be amazing and kinda educational. Like George Carlin's stand up.

I would also pay good money to see Louis C.K., although I do not hold him as high in regard as I do Ricky's stuff.

Outside of that, there really aren't a whole lot of modern comedians that I can watch their stuff over and over. Black comedians today are one-hit wonders, I feel. Rock and Chapelle were the last modern black comedians I can watch over and over. The late Bernie Mac as well

Cook was decent when he was a struggling comedian, now he's just arse. George Carlin and Bill Hicks are legends, as is Pryor. I would have paid big money to see them all. If Eddy Murphy stopped making movies about talking dogs, fat ppl farting, etc. and returned to comedy, I would have loved to see that as well. He's great in RAW.

Eddie Murphy as well. He lost it well before Rock and Chapelle came along but he ie kinda modern. Our generation, definitely. Pryor was before my time although I've heard all his stuff and like him too.

Mitch Hedberg is the one that died the most recently that I liked. I loved his style alot.

Never heard of Mitch Hedberg, will have to check it out. Louis C.K was here not too long ago, didn't get to see the show, but my friend did and he said it was amazing. As well as Russell Peters. I like Robin Williams stand-up, I think it mostly due to the fact that he's so animated on stage. I might be a bit biased on that though since I'm a big fan of his movies.

Hedberg is good. The guy has a special kind of charisma. He seems confident and insecure at the same time. He does one-liners similar to Jimmy Carr but he's darn good.
