Charity Shops

They may not confirm to your ideals, some people diss them and wouldn't be seen dead in one. But actually they are there for a good cause and you find some rare bargains in them. Clothes, shoes everything.

Do you/don't you/would you?

I pick up good quality M&S shirts and likes.

Haven't and wouldn't.

I don't mind admitting I'm a snob and wouldn't be seen in shops like topman and river Island, let alone charity shops.

I'm shallow, but I've accepted it and moved on.

I have in the past, I don't see whats wrong with them, they are really useful for some occasions and like you pointed out they are there for a good cause. Like Katie, when I clear my wardbrobe out I take the clothes I don't want to Charity Shops, I cannot understand people who just simply throw things they no longer like in the bin!

Only if you don't mind going out and seeing 10 other people in your jumper.

Top Man and River Island, do what they do well. They take fashionable designs and add their spin. The clothes look nice but are severly mass produced. I sometimes sit in the pub and notice 3 people wearing the same jumper. And I know that they bought it from one of those shops.

It's a pain though if they rip off the design from an item you own. I paid £100 for this Duffer jumper. Then TopShop ripped the design off so I saw 100's of people wearing a similar jumper to mine. Couldn't wear it again.

So I took it to the charity shop. Like Katie and Sara I hate to throw good clothes in the bin. So I take them to charity shops. Or they have a big recycling bin where I live, where you can dump all your clothes and they go to charity shops. It's like a bottle bank.

I'm sure you could get a jumper from a charity shop with a design that no one else has got :p under £100 too! under £1 in fact.

True.

But there's a reason why no-one wears that design.
