i don't mind payin 100...200$... for cds or mp3's the thing is that's hard to find some1 who sellin' them,100 peeps that would not work,4-5 people is good,every1 would put 100-150$ and that is enough to buy something,there should be somethin like "ebay" of rare songs lol,of course that would not work,but it sucks that even if you have enough amount of money you can't buy unleaked songs,vids...

well consider it like this... usually to secure tracks from people pac worked with, there's a degree of trust. you have to be well known as a trustworthy fella (which i am despite all the hate 15 year olds on the net hold for me). for someone (like me, but maybe not me per se 
) to betray this trust you'd need some $ to slap his conscience around a little.
the way i see it is this... either you paid some dues and got to know the right people, and likewise helped them, or you take a shortcut with money.
the inherent problem with group buys is that obviously the seller sells to the spokesperson of the group. who's to say that the spokesperson isn't:
a) ripping off the group by skimming some money off the top
b) degrading tracks that (s)he sends to the other parties
c) keeping some tracks for themselves, and sending the rest
d) plans on pulling a cynical and running away from the scene with the loot
e) any or all of the above
put it this way, i can count the number of people in the pac scene who i trust with one hand that's missing a few fingers.

i get daily threats, and in fact some lamers who *used* to run a wannabe site (lol, buh bye) even spread some story that my house was broken into all for some 2pac tunes. well, sad fact is that despite years of threats, no one has had the pair to come a knockin'. shame too, because this stealing silver 2pac tea set i copped off ebay just goes to waste.

If I were you I wouldn't bother. Unless you can build up a failrly personal relationship where you have both done favours in the past, I'd forget it.
