i'm in manchester till monday. i'm going to watch the manchester utd/arsenal match on sunday with my brother and parents.

i passed through one of the heathrow terminals and tried to spot Pittsey hoping for some dumb luck, but i didn't see him. bummer.

i didn't sleep at all last night and it's 11am right now. i am so freaking tired. a few hours ago we all went to a pub and got drunk together rofl. on the way back to the hotel my dad and bro sang manchester utd songs together. my dad also did a bunch of things. danced along a railing, stopped to show random people on the street what he had in his shopping bag, and randomly saying things like "fucking nuts" in convenience stores and "motherfucker" randomly while we were walking out.

it was actually hella funny lol, i've never seen my dad drunk before like that.

Have you seen his picture, or were you on the lookout for a short, tat-covered pale man? :D

I live in Manchester, where abouts are you staying? (So I know where to avoid :p)
the premier inn hotel in portland street. stay clear of room 344.

we went here cause my brother and father, they're both huge football fans. now me and my mother, not so much, but even though i'm not a fan, like Rukas said, it's a real nice experience probably. two of the best premier league teams on old trafford. it's like a family holiday. watch a game together, get drunk, shop and have a good time. relax. so far it's been cool. it sucks that i can't get high and i don't sleep well, sweating and shit, but even without weed i really am enjoying myself. that in itself is purpose enough. btw i used to be a big football fan in my younger years. then i started listening to rap, and obviously, started playing basketball.

(that was a joke, i don't play any sports)

I didn't even realize you have a brother....let alone that him and your pops like footy that much. I'm starting to like your family more than you, now.

Regardless, fuck Man Utd. :)

lmao

so funny, i went out to get cigarettes just now and while it took me about 10-15 minutes to find a place that sells em that's still open, i was offered coke and/or shrooms 3 times on the way. soon as my bro and rents go to bed, i'm going back out "for a cig" to score some weed. or not. i'll see, i'm so drunk it's more a passion than a necessity.

we got seats on one of the short sides, right in the middle. i've never seen a football match from this perspective lol, it might suck or it might be cool, we'll see.

a few points of discussion:
- i thought norway had bad weather. fuck manchester in that context. god how unstable your weather is. seriously, i live just by the polar circle and our weather is not only more stable, but nicer and warmer too.
- the british (met lots of peeps from wales and ireland) are fucking nice. god so many nice people. they're so nice to talk about.

Fuck you for going to watch man utd.

j/k should be a good game for a neutral to watch.
i'm basically cheering for manchester. like i said i used to be into soccer five years ago. when i was, man utd was _the_ team. they dominated premier league for a few years in a row and were basically one of the best in the world at the time. even though i fell off the whole football thing (not a sports kinda guy rly) i still cheer for them though.
