Books about Tupac in your national language

Hi everybody!

The full question is:

How many books about Tupac is translated to your language in your country? (Besides English language countries of course)

In my country - POLAND we have 5 officialy released books in Polish language:

- The Killing of Tupac Shakur (Zycie i Smierc Tupaca Shakura)
- Rose That Grew From The Concrete (Roza Ktora Wyrosla Na Betonie)
- Holler If You Hear Me (Krzyczcie Jesli Mnie Slyszycie)
- Tupac: Resurrection (Tupac: Zmartwychwstanie)
- Inside Thugz Heart (Z Glebi Serca...)

+ 3 unofficial released (on tha website)
- Got Ya Back
- Back In Tha Day
- Static: My Tupac Shakur Story

If you are from Germany, France or whatever country that has Tupac books in its language, please post them here, thanks!

none in norwegian, thank god. i think that when you translate a book, it loses some of its appeal. 50% can't be directly translated. "got your back", for instance. i don't have count for how many times "nigga" is being said in that book, and i doubt there is any language besides english that has a good translation for the word as it is being used. that's just one of many things that can't be translated.

in my country (hungary) got 1 official 2Pac book ... my homie Gánó writed it, its a great book, its not a translate he writed it with his own words ... u kno what i mean

jokes built on wordplay can't be translated. "nigga" can't be translated because no other language but english has a word that one african-american can use when talking to another african-american to salute him as his brother. jokes in general lose their appeal when translated. certain terms can't be translated. books that use direct speech, like "i got your back", shouldn't be translated.

and why translate a book anyway? if you can't understand what is being said in a book, you sure as hell can't understand what pac is saying in his songs and then what's the point in reading a book about him? lol. i'd rather read harry potter if i didn't know english.

why? it's very simple, Ima explain it to you. Some people in Poland know English and some don't. And translations are being done for the latter. It's simple, isn't it? The situation is the same all over the world. Not only are books about Tupac being translated. That's just for your interest. And don't tell me it's not worth. There is Polish equivalent for Nigga. And I bet there is one in Norwegian. I've got cousines in Norway so Ima ask'em anyway.

Well, Mutulu Shakur himself wrote to me (answering my letter) and he was pleased that KNOWLEDGE (because that's what books are about) about Tupac Shakur is being translated so more people can understand Pac, also people in Poland want to read about Pac because Pac was interesting individual and they don't have to know his lyrics, they don't have to understand shit in English

Following your thinking I should say: what is the purpouse of reading translated poems from all over the world? Maybe you don't like it but there are plenty of people that do like them, so please don't make it so senseless since WHOLE LOT of people read translated books, poems etc...

Please try to understand, try to look at this from other perspective
