To me, people are people no matter what color they are. We all have the same thing on the inside, the outside just looks different. Just like you have white people with different skin tones, black people are the same way. What your friend said sounds ridiculous to me. Black people do have souls, just like white people. Some just have better souls than others, just like white people. I just don't understand how someone can be racist. I've dated white men and I've dated black men, I'm seeing one right now. So to me, there is no difference.
But there are people who do see a difference. Talking about being racist as far as clubs or other establishments go, its everywhere. The place me and my friend go to every weekend, they're trying right now to keep the black people out of there. They say the black people don't spend any money and don't tip the bartenders, which I know is bullshit because I see them buying drink after drink, beer after beer, tipping the bartenders, playing pool for hours at a time. They've even started charging a cover charge on Friday nights and everytime you walk out the door, you have to pay to get back in. Its all an attempt to keep the black people out of there. They only do it on Friday night because thats the night where from about 1130pm til closing time, 95 percent of the people in there are black and it used to be a big ass redneck bar because the owner is racist and one of the bartenders is big time racist. Its mainly her fault they're doing what they're doing because she doesn't wanna listen to the hip hop music. They even told the DJ he couldn't play hip hop and when he did it anyways, this particular bartender called the owner and told her he was doing it and she talked to him and told him if he played it anymore, he was fired. I just don't understand why they'd be like that. I mean, when they pay their rent on the place, do you think the people ask them if that money came from black or white people and then refuse it when they tell them it was from black people? I doubt it. Money is money no matter who it comes from, it all spends the same way. But I guarantee you that when that place is dead as hell on Friday nights and them bitch ass bartenders ain't making a dime, they'll wish they had them black people back in there.
