alright, so since u mentioned the long kiss goodnight, i'm gonna ask you do provide example lyrics and an explanation relating the lyrics to 2pac......directly........cuz biggie did a lot of that subliminal shit......ok, now on the long kiss goodnight which parts refer to pac?
Don't have time to disect biggies lyrics but people did before (try searching it). And Lil cease said that song was a diss to Pac. And theres an unreleased uncut outro to it that is directly at Pac.

Pac didnt need big to make money, he proved it on AEOM. I personally think Big was totally fake when it comes to the Pac beef..but admiting he was wrong would have made him look weak, and so he had to maintain his innocence in the whole matter and wish it away.

Peace/Love

Exactly my thoughts.....Big was a jokester for thinking Pac needed him to sell records or make money......AEOM sold more in its first month then RTD has TO DATE, lol.

lol You are all going by 'AEOM" has no diss track but "Hit em up" was out on the b-side of "how do you want it" and all the beef were in Pac's interview so don't tell me this did nothing in terms of sales because this isn't true. You don't necceraly need a diss track on your album when one big diss track and all the feud in interviews is the main promotion for the album.

If Biggie wasn't the victim, Pac wasn't a nice guy and he wasn't stupid either.
AEOM had already sold 6 million by the time Hit Em Up was released.

plzzz think before speaking.... AEOM isn't even diamond from the last update in 1998 so how could it be 6million sold ? :rolleyes:

And hit em up was release shorter after the album was released.
And you forgot that all the buzz in magasine and newspaper was a big part of the promotion (not saying the beef was fake)

I don't think Pac actually mentions Biggy on Holla at Me.
holla at me more sounds like this:

verse one sounds like he's talkin' about Stretch, but it could be biggie....

verse two sounds like he's talkin' to biggie

and the third verse goes to the bitch that put him in jail

look what rappin' about biggie havin' somethin' to do with it did though, instead of the no named peices of shit that did shoot and rob him, it definately got the sitiuation more media coverage and publicity and kept his stock and biggie's as a star at the top locked and sealed.....ppl couldn't get enough of that oh, it's east vs. west shit........and when 2pac did go after biggie, look how many ppl's decisions and opinions he influenced, so if pac said biggie had somethin' to do with it (even if he didn't) still that's how many ppl that would believe anything 2pac said

Maybe you should take your own advice and think before speaking. AEOM had sold 6 million (Technically 3 mill since it's a double album) in a couple months, I believe he sold 2 mill in the first week. The reason it didn't go diamond, like I said, is because it counts as 2 albums. In 1997, the sales were 7 mill. Do the math: 7=3.5, 6=3, so that only adds up to 7.5 mill sold by 1998

diamond is 10 million. this is a double cd, so each purchase counts twice. therefore for all eyez 5 million sales = diamond.

biggie never did dirty himself, but he was responsible for a lot of shit indirectly. at their height, biggie and puffy pulled a lot of foull shit thanks to his king of ny status. it's been confirmed that biggie had gang protection as well, so it's easy to say he wasn't a saint even though his rapsheet was short.

fuckin truth....Biggie might not have been directly involved but 2pac never said that all he said was, on the vibe intevriew, was that HE knew that pac was being targeted. He knew but didnt tell him shit like a punk worried bout himself instead of like a true roaddogg, he though Biggie was his friend, thought Biggie owed him more then that not to let him know someone was bout to "blow his fuckin head off"

not to mention the rumored "biting" of MATW (for ready to Die which was proven even more with the songs that were cut appearing on RUSD) the biting of the double rap lp concept soon after Pac's death, and the song going back to Cali...all that shit is just a slap to the face at Pac...using his formulas to make money...He never mentions Biggie at all directly on AEOM and uf anything Holla At Me is more of him questioning why instead of dissing.

Can someone post the lyrics up to Long Kiss Goodnight?

Puff Daddy]
Mmmmmmmmm-HMM
See.. {*echoes*}
I told you.. {*echoes*}

[Puff] See, I told y'all muh'fuckers
[Big] Yo yo.. that stupid nigga man
[Puff] I told y'all to stop!
[Big] He fucked up, yo..
[Puff] I pray for you to stop
[Big] Yo, yo yo yo, yo.. yo.. yo..
Yo, yo yo yo, yo..
[Puff] But no, you didn't stop
[Big] Yo.. yo..
[Puff] And now, we won't stop

Chorus: sung by Notorious B.I.G. (repeat 2X)

Time, time for you to die
As I kiss.. yo'.. ass.. goodnight

[Notorious B.I.G.]
I make yo' mouthpiece obese like Della Reese
When I release, you loose teeth like Lil' Cease
Nigga please, blood floods yo' Dungarees
And that's just the half on my warpath
Laugh now cry later, I rhyme greater
than the average playa hater, and spectators
buy my CD twice; they see me in the streets
They be like, "Yo he nice, but that's on the low doe"
Be the cats with no dough, tried to play me at my show
I pull out fo'-fo's, and go up in they clothes
Short-change niggaz, snort-caine niggaz
Extortion came quicker, bought the Range nigga
Ya still tickle me, I used to be as strong as Ripple be
til Lil' Cease crippled me
Now I play hard, like my girls nipples be
The game sour like like a pickle be, y'all know da rules
Move from BK to New Jeruz -- thinkin bout
all the planes we flew, bitches, we ran through
Now the year's new, I lay my game flat
I want my spot back, take two
Motherfuckers mad cause I blew, niggaz envious
Too many niggaz on my dick, shit strenuous
When my men bust, you just move wit such stamina
Slugs missed ya, I ain't mad at cha (we ain't mad at cha)

Blood rushin, concussions, ain't nothin
Catch cases, come out frontin, smokin somethin
Sippin White Russians, bitch in the Benz bumpin
I laced it wit the basic, six TV's a system
Knockin Mase shit, face it, we hard to hit
Guard ya shit, 'fore I stick you, for your re-up
Wipe the pee up, mixed shots, woke your seed up
Go in the ashtray, spark the weed up, LONG KISS

Chorus 2X

{Puff Daddy - speaking over chorus}
Now.. we don't give a fuck..
We just absolutely.. don't give a fuck..
Because.. there ain't no motherfuckin love here..
There ain't no love here..
You know, we.. we just gon' keep doin what we do
We gon' keep FUCKIN YOU UP..
And I'ma keep stompin your MOTHERFUCKIN HEAD IN
you FUCKIN BITCH, c'mon!!
{last line overlaps Biggie's next verse}

[Notorious B.I.G.]
Uhh.. I'm flamin gats, aimin at, these fuckin
maniacs, put my name in raps, what part the
game is that? Like they hustle backwards
I smoke Blackwoods and Dutchies, ya can't touch me
Try to rush me, slugs go, touchy-touchy
You're bleedin lovely, wit'chyo, spirit above me
or beneath me, your whole life you live sneaky
Now you rest eternally, sleepy, you burn when you creep me
Rest where the worms and the weak be
My nine flies, baptize, rap guys
With the Holy Ghost, I put holes in most
You hold your toast shaky, slippin tryin to break me
Look what you made me do, brains blew
My team in the marine-blue, six Coupe
Skied it out, weeded out, cleanin out -- the block
for distances, givin long kisses BITCH

Chorus 2X

{Puff Daddy - speaking over chorus}
All we have to do now.. is say a prayer for you.. y'know?
That's all we have to do, just to pray for your mind.. cause..
Eheh, see your mind got control of your heart..
when it's supposed to be the other way around
Your heart's supposed to got control of your mind..
So now, I have no feelings for you
You have made me cold..
{last line overlaps Biggie's next verse}

[Notorious B.I.G.]
Frank White the menacin, Chron Chron's the medicine
I got the lettuce and, you turn green like cucumber skin
Got the new, Hummer in the summer when I was a new comer
then, drugs and mac-10's
Hugs from fake friends, make ends they hate you
Be broke -- girls won't date you
That's why I relate to, choke yo' ass out til your face blue
Make you, open the safe too
No matter how you call it (how you call it)
this brolic, alcoholic .. {*Biggie's chorus fades in*}
like his weed green'd out, like his brick solid
Distribute to, kids who, take heart like Valentine
Drink Ballentine, all the time
Slugs hit your chest tap you spine, flatline
Heard through the grapevine, you got fucked fo' times
Damn that three to nine, fucked you up for real doe
Sling steal slow, as for remorse, we feel no

Chorus 3X

{Puff Daddy - speaking over chorus}
See the fucked up thing is that I love you..
yaknahmsayin?
It's just in my nature to love you..
I can't hate you.. cause it's not in my nature to hate you..
You know, I don't know..
Maybe.. I'm a different type of individual..
But.. you have me on the line..
and there's a thin line between love and hate
And God forbid I cross that line..
Cause y'all not gonna give a fuck
I'm tellin you right, MOTHERFUCKIN, NOW!!
THE SHIT, Y'ALL DONE STARTED, IS NEVER GONNA STOP!!!
WE ARE NEVER GONNA STOP!!!
And we not talkin bout.. no other rappers..
We talkin bout YOU motherfucker
YOU KNOW, who I'm talkin to..
We comin for you..
We comin for you.. ehehehehheh
The shit's gon' feel so good..
I'm gon' make you love me baby {*echoes*}

that right there I bolded should be enough to let everyone know its bout Pac fuckin punk move

damn ok i misread him, I took 6mil in the way he already divided by 2 the sales of a double album... mea culpa :D

And I know how it works for a double LP that's why I said it didn't go diamond :mad: ;)
