Because of fear we'll evaporate...

With all of the collaborations Pac did on other projects....do you think its fair to pair Pac up with mainstream artists?...while as a Elton John track was "wack", would a Johnny Cash collab be more sensable?...is there a double-standard in that Pac should only limit himself to "thug" "hardcore" "rappers"??...i fear whoever going to be featuring is really not going to meet ANY fans appreciation...WHATS NEXT???

if a mainstream artist has to be used then i guess one key thing they'd need to get right, would be, the guests vocals/rhymes would have to be good and compliment pacs music.

elton was gay, literally.

if you look at pacs eralier work you know he aint just limited to thugs and hardcores

Jay-z did a track with Colplay, Kanye did tracks with Maroon 5 and Coldplay so it is possible.

And I would love to see such a thing happening with Pac. Whether it is a song with Coldplay, U2 or Prince doesn't matter. It could b good if it is handled the right way. The mix wit Elton John was crap. If it would've been handled the right way I think it could've worked.
If Em had let Elton John re-record his vocals in Pacs og tempo and Amaru would've given him the full pella.

Pac and Elton seems good on paper but the execution was badly flawed...but i would love a Pac/Johnny Cash mix...ive listened to the mix Kanye did with Cash...kanye provided production and the tempo was great...now only if we get the same output from the latter...

A collabo with someone like Prince or Michael Jackson might sound alright, and Pac did a lot of work that was inspired by both of them ;
Pop Life- Pac's Life, If I was ur girlfriend -Thugz Get Lonely 2, Human Nature-Niggaz Nature, They Don't Care ABout Us-They Don't give a fuck about us<
So anything with MJ or Prince would probably sound alright

You missed "What'z Ya Phone #". Sampled from "777-9311" by The Time, produced and written by Prince. Also, "Is It Cool To Fuck" is sampled from "Get It Up", also by The Time and written and produced by Prince. TLC did a cover of "Get It Up" that plays in Poetic Justice, too.

Not forgetting, "Heartz of Men", which is sampled from Prince's "Darling Nikki", "When Thugz Cry", not a sample but clearly inspired by "When Doves Cry", and "Wussup With The Luv", which was sampled from Prince's "Ballad of Dorothy Parker".

I had a long conversation with Johnny J about Prince, too. He said him and 'Pac would bump Prince ALL day. Also, Johnny's engineer is working with Prince at the moment, he showed him the Dave Chappelle skit with 'Pac in the club, he said Prince thought it was funny as fuck and couldnt stop laughing.
