First of all, why was Da_Funk banned? There used to be this thread where super mods and admins posted every time they banned someone. That was back in the day. I'd love to see that resurrected. A link to the offensive post, with a reason for the ban. So everyone could stay on top of things. I guess I'm curious. I would love to know why, when core members disappear.

But anyway, what's up with the reporting and banning lately? Someone said something about either Bobby or Sandeep becoming the new bichi. I mean, I have no problem with either of you guys, and I don't think you'll be a bichi, but I get dilla's point. And like, carmi is reporting dilla's holocaust comment towards Duke. Again, nothing personal towards carmi, but why? Why is 2 girls 1 cup, 1 guy 1 cup, and 1 guy 1 dead cow head, goatse, inside out assholes and pictures making fun of black people all okay? I don't have to explain what dilla wanted to say, but I will. He didn't say "Duke, you're a jew of heritage, I hate jews, and the holocaust was good". He could have said "I wish someone murdered you in the street" and his message would have the same effect.

I don't know how to put it all into words, but something's changing on the boards, and I'm not liking it. It's as if we're all trying to be.. pseudo-adults. It's gay as fuck to me. I have hated some people over the years, but I don't think I ever reported anyone, except maybe bichi, or Duke or Chronic as a joke. If I ever say some stupid shit and you try to ban me, I'll just leave.

well, some of those comment would turn people off joining this place. For example, a young black hip hop fan would be put off this place if he reads racist jokes. Maybe thats why he was banned? If Caesar wants his website to be successful then he doesnt want that kind of shit on his message board.

And Dilla said i could become the new Bichi but i disagree because i see Dilla and Bichi as much the same thing really. Not many other people would agree with him there. I certainly wouldnt see Sandeep as the new Bichi either.

Da_Funk is the lamest person on the board. You find me a post were he has said something positive/constructive? All he does is make pathetic attempts at being funny by insulting/criticising members/the topic of discussion. True, but with all due respect, there is a LOT of stuff that could be done to really make this website popular. Until we get some news reporters with exclusive sources, this will always be an average hiphop site, and nothing more. During Christmas time, there was a huge lack of updates. That's not slur, that's just the truth. I know the reason - no one wants to step up. But that doesn't change what it is. So hiding behind that argument, to me, makes little sense when there's a million other things one could also do, that aren't being done. But fair enough, I see the argument.

I went by memory, but fair enough. It was directed towards Sebastian. You're not a jew either though, are you? The point was that someone felt "holocaust" was racist, and I'm trying to explain how it was not. This wasn't about that specific incident either. I'm trying to paint a picture of how imo, the board has changed from a free haven to a bunch of quirky people with special needs that don't want people saying bad things to them. Cracking jokes at other people's expense is this forum's specialty. Exposes, the golden era, anyone? Yeah. Who are "those guys"? Cause the janitor joke that dilla used was started by someone else. Duke posts pictures of Indians on a train as an insult. A non-Indian would not see it that way, but he was essentially mocking Indians packed on a train the same way Mexicans are mocked for fitting so many people into a truck and driving around doing constructive things for low wages. Duke's post still stands as do his posts of him calling me "curryman." He also PMed me asking "what can you tell me about ***" which was something I did not know what it was until I looked it up on Google. It was a rural tradition of eating the placenta of a newborn or something like that. It's like asking a white person in America "what do you know about fucking your cousin and incest and shit that they do in the South."

So if we're here to talk about racism, almost everyone's guilty of it. So we either live with it knowing that essentially it's a joke or that if it is serious, it's the internet and it really doesn't mean much since the person wouldn't say it to another's face in real life.

Now carmi on the other hand, has wanted me gone for a looooong time. I may annoy her, anger her, whatever. I do not care. The same way bacho didn't care about who didn't like his posts, he still kept posting. She cheers every time I get banned, she says silly things in threads, and usually adds fuel to the fire when the boys are fighting. Which is fine. She contributes nothing to the board, yet she's still not banned. I hate seeing the quotes in her profile, as they are ridiculous, stupid songs that no one listens to. She can't even speak English, I bet, and she still runs around talking about "productive members" and reporting posts. It's fine. Just get over it. We lost da funk, we'll lose some more. I feel that I am probably at the top of the list for the next banning. Fine. The board has negativity, ok. Is there any positivity? No. So in what direction are we moving? Backwards. I see where SiGh is coming from and I've agreed with every recent banning or warning explanation. I don't know what Da Funk did though to get banned. Jokes on the basis of color, race, gender, sexual orientation bla bla are all OK when they're inside jokes and not insults, but some of the pictures and things said can be seen as something else, easily. So, if SiGh holds the belief that you shouldn't make racist jokes because it prevents people from engaging in conversation and signing up, then there's nothing to argue. That's that.

You can't argue that people who don't have the same sense of humor shouldn't get offended (assuming that's one of the counter-arguments to what SiGh says). Bobby Sands is the kind of guy who gets offended by things or people that he has no relation to, like Black people (lawl).
