I just bought this piece of crap, well actualy, I recieved it for my birthday...

Is there any fucking way of just using it as an USB Key...

I install it, put files on there, decide to delete some files from my laptop, I decide to put some others on the PHD and the fucker deletes the same files I deleted on my laptop!!!!

What the FUCK?!
What is the use of a portable hard drive if I can't delete files on my computer!!!!

If nobody knows, is there any other Hard Drives which don't act like this piece of fucking crap? I want to put it all on there so I can have more space on my computer...

Thank you.

Sorry I'm sick, I just went on a rant. And you are the emo.

But seriously, I didn't delete anything actualy. I put my files on the HD by synchronizing, I just bought it so I guessed it's the only way...

How do you put your files?

thanks for the help btw.

i just drag my files and copy them over to the hard drive. i dont have a thumb drive, which it sounded like you were using. kind of a weird problem, i've never heard of anything like that before.

Yeah fucking syncing, I'm drag and dropping now.

I have some other problems now...

The Disk doesnt want to get read by my computer. I had to install it manualy.

Sometimes i can't even open it in My Computer.

I checked the site, my USB reader is not on the "Black List" of WD.

I read a few thngs about it. That synchronising thing is how its supposed to work.

The program that comes with WD Passport is supposed to work as a medium between your home PC and your PC at work.

Meaning that it's like the hard drive on your PC that you just carry to work. If you erase it on your PC, when syncrhonizing, it'll erase it on your WD too, because the WD thinks that if you don't need it on your PC anymore, you won't need it on your WD.

Now, fuck that shit, Carry and Drop is where it's at.

As for that USB part, I still have no clue what's wrong.

It works just fine on my old piece of crap home computer.
