some say the work, some say they fuck your knees up (u know if u play with them, it could hurt). I ain't sure. I think runnin is ok with ankle weights but I wouldn't play ball, wouldn't jump with them.
Go to pratice, work hard. Try to be quick. Do defense slides. Do happy feet. Do sprints. Do Jump. All those things. But don't worry too much about bulkin up and your vertical, you're too young for that. See I worked on my vertical at the age of 15/16, but my knees started to hurt, so I gave it up. Came back a year later and suddenly I could do it without pain afterwards. And it worked. So if there's pain etc don't fuck your knees up cause of false motivation. I took a step back and played ball and it worked out for me.
