See,there you go 'insulting' me..
But seriously, putting out a compilation album is something else than putting out your own thoughts and feelings for the whole world to hear. The outlawz have appeared on over 40 million records in the US alone. Was that much of an accomplishment? No,but there are LOTS of people (including you at some point in your life I'm sure) who could relate to what they have said on those records. Also, though they have been blackballed in the music business they continue to struggle to put out independent (without Pacs name on it)records AND sell records and live from the proceedings. THAT is something that should be respected. They are not regular mtv-bling-rappers or something. They actually have a message. If you don't like their music, fine,I can respect that. But don't try to portray them as a bunch of ignorant people because when you really listen to what they say on and off record then you know they were inspired by Pac and they actually learned something from him. Plus they use those lessons to try to live a better, legit life. They spread a positive message. That is something that is more honourable than a certain educational degree. (though I'm sure you have enjoyed a higher form of education)

Once more I want to say that I don't dislike you or lack respect for you or anything Dante. You and you're work are amongst the things I enjoy most on this board. But in this particular case I just can't agree with you and I had to speak on it because these 15 year-olds who just started listening to Pac and the Lawz will take over anything the masses say and I think the Outlawz deserve better.
So there..,I hope this can take away any perception of disrespect from your part..
the factor is, the Outlawz have half-completely fucked up the best rapper of all times legacy to build up their own biz based on their street principles. live with it, you still dirty, no matter how saint u wanna look like, its been 6 years that fans are braggin the shit out of amaru to deserve a decent album made in the love of Pac, the way he made it, the way he wanted it to be published for the streets and for the people, the way he desired it to be repped over the day he died. whatever love the Outlawz got for Pac, they still fucked up a man's dream for another.
no one is claimin' their rap skillz, if somebody dislikes 'em prolly is cuz doesnt give a flyin fuck of their music, all we want is things to be done in real respect for Pac and everybody stoppin actin like surprizin over they own issues cuz it 2Pac the main issue right here.
stop pointin the finger sayin' people on this board is hatin and shit, you know thats not what we're talkin in the first place.
stop pointin the finger sayin' people lickz ass to the leaders, you cant decyper the realz from the fakez that are hailing dante, candyman and the rest of the supporters.
I personally dont give a much of Candyman, Assassin, but know Shock G is down with it cuz has been longside with Pac, Storm is down with it cuz she has been too, so Im down with the crew cuz love for Pac is what they involving to make the legacy stay united.. and that's cuz they take a listen to the fans! who gives a fuck if they put their names on it, we give a fuck if they put their love on it to get things done the way 2Pac fans wish 'em to be done, ya get the point?!
if the Outlawz could take a listen to the fans puttin true involvement to get Amaru release what fans are lookin up at it for, and stop feelin victims defending whats really not the "2Pac-main issue", prolly that'd be a good way to get their respect on back thru 2Pac's half unfucked up legacy.
