i’m currently rippin’ my whole 2pac-collection to a hard disc audio recorder. by doing that i recognized, that i have so many different versions of the song ‘runnin’.so i sat down and analized every single one of them.i’m not sure, but i think this has never been discussed thoroughly in this forum.here’s the result.maybe hardcore fans like dante and others can add a few corrections to it.



Runnin’ (TLV1 Original 1) feat. Thoro Headz, Stretch, The Notorious B.I.G. & Buju Banton [different 2pac verse]
significance of the song:
- the words ‘police’ and ‘5.0’ and all other curse words are unedited
- different pac verse (pac’s verse startin with ‘it’s on me...’)

i’m aware of an unreleased eminem remix of „runnin’ [dying to live]“ but i never heard it, so i can’t comment that.
please don't mention trapp's zillion different versions of 'stop the gunfight' aka 'stop the gunfire'.

edi aka. big malcolm. yes he was.

i don't remember if this is something i dreamt or whatever lol, but i do recall listening to the stone's remix instrumental and hearing the vocals very very low in the background, as if a vocal remover had been used. i'll have to listen when i get off work but this puzzled me.

can someone post the time's for the album version (unedited with exception of 'police' and '5 0') and the original one up there that has the female singer?
