A possible explanation for the incorrect song titles on Pac's Life

#1
As we all know, some titles are wrong - Sleep, Playa Cardz Right, Don't Stop..perhaps they did that on purpose because they are planning on using different (better?) versions for the hypothetical album (assuming this album isn't really a 'real' LP like we hope) and want to use the real titles.

The same thing happened for like Niggaz Nature for instance, but I do realize it's a stretch.

Why would Pac make a song called Don't Stop with Tha Dogg Pound and a song called Don't Stop (The Music) with tha Outlawz?
It's just like them renaming Friendz to F*** Friendz.

it's called trying to fool people who have the bootlegs. the theory is that if you use the same titles people that already have it won't buy it...

^^Yeh its not supposed to - its a play on words. i wouldn't even be suprised if it was pac who spelt the title of that song. If that was the case i'm sure everyone on this board would suddenly think its the best title for a track released.

I'm guessing the following:

- "Dont Go 2 Sleep" was named "Sleep" to prevent people from thinking it's a remix of the "Dont Sleep" track. I mean if there were "Dont Go 2 Sleep" and "Dont Sleep" tracks, well, it would've not sounded good.. So they changed "Dont Go 2 Sleep" to "Sleep". Maybe they had to do it.. What else could they've done?

- "Dont Stop" is simply a better title then "Dont Stop The Music", especially when the song is full of "Wont Stop", "Cant Stop", "Dont Stop" phrases without the words "the music". I agree of this choice.

- "Playa Cards Right" was simply a mis-step. They went from "Play Your" to "Play Ya" to "Playa".. That's dumb!! Playa = Player. Simple as that. It should've been either "Play Your Cards Right", "Play Ur Cards Right" or "Play Ya Cards Right".

There's already a Don't Stop, so I don't agree with this.

i think this is the reason lol.... theres no other reason they would change the song names, who cares what the songs are called anyways. their all remixes

people that have the bootlegs and follow pac's music beyond the scope of retail releases and the occasional mixtape make up <1% of the total fanbase. what's more - only about 20% (im guessing) of these people buy the albums.
amaru does not care about us. they dont change shit to 'fool' 0.2% of customers.

good theory, but it is not logical.
