In north Germany’s Hamburg which is considered a main spot of German hip hop scene, the Outlawz performed the first of their 4-part tour series these days! I was lucky to be among those who were there.
I have to say, although there weren’t really that many people coming to that club where the performance took place (what even the organisator didn’t expect) the Outlawz did a freaky show, performing innumerable of their classic higts as well as their new joints from the new album. The first track they performed was Hail Mary which was followed by an EXTREMELY ENTHUSIASTIC ‘Starin Through The Rearview’ with the crowd yelling as if that would be the brandnew summer hit
…
What I found remarkable was the way the Outlawz accompanied by Stormy and a cameraman (who was filming material which will exclusively appear on the Outlawz next DVD!) did treat the fans! I doubt that there are many cats outthere who embrace their fans with such open arms as the Lawz do. EDI and co, called all female fans (mostly girls I guess) on the stage!! IMAGINE that, they kept dancing and shaking their asses rite in front of the Lawz ON STAGE for the rest of the show!!). Also, Young Noble shook hands wit us, talked to us, let me n some homies even rap into the mic for a few seconds during the Hit Em Up verses, it was amazing! And let me tell you about the atmosphere as a whole: I said already the club wasn’t even packed, and all tha songs the Outlawz performed found quite a loud response among the fans (Just Like Daddy, Let It Burn, They Dont Give A Fuck About Us, This Life I Lead, I Dare U, Real Talk, Secretz Of War, Lost Souls, the list goes on…) BUT NOTHING CAME CLOSE TO WHAT HAPPENED WHEN the DJ started playing the last track of the show, which was (on request of the fans) HIT EM UP!! MAN, ALL OF A SUDDEN THE HOUSE WAS R O C K I N G !! I mean rocking, I thought that club prolly wuz about to explode or sth! It was so heavily celebrated, all fans and the lawz sang or better 'screamed' the verses, the Lawz rapped over the song with so much fire, man, u must have een it, words cant explain whut was going down at this moment, those who were there know what Im talking about…(Man, i really think THAT version would be worthof being put on a LIVE Cd album as Pac's recent one, one day by the Outlawz)...
By the way, I really felt like all these fan dudes, especially the hardcore Outlaw fans like me, shared one and the same feeling while being there on the show - that they all miss Yak n Pac, and that they admire the Outlawz and are thankful that THEY still rocking it!!!
After the show, the Outlawz were kind enuff to come out of the backstage area from time 2 time to sign some autographs, (one I have scanned and uploaded). As a matter of fact, I was supposed to get some interview time (for the magazine) with them, too, but unfortunately it didn’t happen, which made me kind of terrifically sad, lol, AND also fans weren’t allowed to bring their cameras in the club, that’s why I have no pics yet, but I hope to get a few done by a homey who wuz there as well, if so, Imma post them here immediately! ..but still it wuz a unforgettable experience to be all the time so close to them - throughout the whole show – that you could feel their sweat droping of their foreheads down on us, so close we were at the lil stage of the club – cant get no closer dan dis, guaranteed!!
Today the Outlawz are hitting the next German spot, called Pforzheim, before they go on to Holland.
OUTLAWZ, despite of all the doubters/critics/haters - u are the shit! If there is someone in the rap game still with real content lyrics, its u boys!!!
If there is any rap group showing his fans PURE LOVE (especially overseas) its U!
Keep it up. :thumb:
