2pac:Uncompromising Lawlessness

Do yall feel that 2pac is a positive image for today's youth?
Do you feel that perhaps he has spawned a culture of "thugs", and that might be destructive to society?

while these may seem to be good questions on face value, their answers are obvious and boring. a better question would be to ponder the origins of the gordita and how it spawned its own ultimate rival, the chalupa. the chalupa and the gordita both are available in baha and fiesta varities, yet neither are available without meat, due to the oppressing machine known to man as taco bell. as a thug and a vegan i am offended, yet aroused.

Simple answer... People with an education can recognize the positiveness in the things pac sought. They can recognize his mistakes, and can understand that while he may have had more then his share of fuck ups, he stood for something more important then bling and hoes. Sadly, the majority by far that listen to rap are neither educated, nor do they so much care about the positive messages behind the man. As a result we have a whole generation of rappers who think that by claiming to be a thug it makes them cool, and of course following that we have about 10 million dumbasses who think that money hoes and crime are what rap music represents, and that it's cool to be known for such things.

Very nice answer. I apreciate you taking these questions seriously because contrary to what Dante thinks - - these are very important discussions.

Dante You Drunken Shit,

As Far As 2pac Being A Positive Role Model For Kids, No I Dont Think So. Sure He May Preach About The Horrors Of The Streets, But The Mind Of The Average 10 Year Is Often Trying To Fit In To Be Cool And Recognized That To Fly On The Straight Line. Feel Me? So No I Dont Think 'i Wrote This Shit While Fuckin Big's Wife' Would Be Very Positive For Our Youth

lmao at dante

fatal said it perfect i think.

i see lots of young kids trying to act like some real thugs, but live and grew up in the smallest of towns. i would love to take them on a road trip to east saint louis and show them the county i grew up in. they would as scared as i was everytime i went there.

i dont think you can just say it was 2pac that spawn this. even if 2pac never picked up a mic, i think it still would have happend. we still would have gotten nwa, vanilla ice getting big and helping to fund the creation of death row records, three6mafia has been doing their thing for a long as time, master p, mobb deep, and countless of others that could have a finger or two pointed at them

Dante made no sense whatsoever.

Anyway, to answer your question SunTzu420

" Do yall feel that 2pac is a positive image for today's youth "

NO, pac is not a positive image for todays or tomorrows youth

" Do you feel that perhaps he has spawned a culture of "thugs", and that might be destructive to society? "

What people label other people as thugs has existed before pac was even born, nevertheless, destruction does not come from these thugs that people label, destruction comes from Satan and those who follow the devil. Destruction has been going on sense adam and eve, cain and abel, thats all it is and all it was

The Bottom line:

Tupac is a good person , and i think the things that he talks about is sometimes good and sometimes bad, people know the difference between Hitemup & Better dayz
, sometimes pac will make you think positve and other times his music is wrong.
So pac is a good person no doubt about that, but i cant see him being a positive image for anyone, only because the bad side of him was more clear then his good side.
