House of pain is a good song but the production of the OG is terrible, same with Pacs life its a good song but could be produced better.

i dont think thats a fair judgement as no one can really hear the beat too good

The only track that would realistically sound right would be "My Dyin' Day" - beat-wise. I could see them redoing some of the guest verses though.

Tracks like "Soon As I Get Home," despite the fanfare they get, sound a little dated. If the instruments were touched up they might sound a little more modern (which is the point, from Amaru's view), but it's more likely that a completely different beat will be chosen instead.

And remember Biggie's "Duets" album features 2Pac. Of all the possibilities, wouldn't "House of Pain" make the most sense? If anything, though, it would be the version from "Born Again."
