News alert on AMARU RECORDS Being once again dirty and changing shit up us. A MESSAGE FROM SHOCK G---HOW THEY JUST PAINTED OVER ONE OF THE PICTURES AGAIN!

(MESSAGE RECIEVED FROM SHOCK G TO ASSASSIN)

I've found the perfect scenario to describe my feelings in this Amaru
fiasco:

I feel like an artist who turned in a painting, and then the office
staff of the museum painted all over it and then put it on display at a
very popular & important art exhibit, and labeled it as my painting.
After discovering this and of course becoming outraged, they consoled
me by assuring we can replace it with my original painting, but only
after 90,000 viewers have passed through to veiw their version.

shockg

I turned in one of the best works of my 16-year career, only to have it
remixed behind my back by 2 middle-aged women from the Amaru office.
Cold.
All respect to Afeni Shakur, she wasn't involved.

Propz to Shock and Assassin for posting.

Glad he made sure we knew Afeni wasn't involved. Otherwise we know what dumb comments would have followed.

Re-reading the message.

Does that mean that Shock said yes to the replacement of the OG or not?

I'm hoping yes. Assassin, do you know?

''All respect to Afeni Shakur, she wasn't involved.''

It seems she's not involved and don't know what's going down in her own company? Goddamn it's sad...

that 90,000 figure reflects amaru's offer to repress and ship with a fixed version for all releases after the first 90,000 that have already shipped. whether they make good on that remains to be seen.

So..Are they going to replace the OG after or not? If you know.

Edit - Just read the last line.

They say they will replace it with the OG but who knows now after the damage has been done there might be no turning back for the original on this one,we hope for the best but seen it all before.Just never thought that they would do it also to Shock without permission granted, now that's uncalled for i thought they were over this on destroying one's work without permission or say so at least a heads up.~What a damn shame!~Assassin.

I'd like to say I'm suprised at Amaru for acting like this, but I'm not. They have been making fucked up decisions for a long time now, I just wish it was clear who is really making the decisions and what their reasoning is.

things are coming to a head in what is becoming a power struggle between fake-ass amaru records, edi, and kastro; (not afeni, as i previously and erroneously blamed for lttg, etc) and the real people who are down to ride with pac (cm187, shock, storm, rizz, etc). not to mention, there is still the whole suge/death row b.s. to deal with.

i'm sure pac has shed a tear because friendships/relationships have been irreparably severed in the handling of his catalogue of work that he left as a gift to the world.

it is truly a shame.

Exactly what I've been thinkin all these years...she's never to blame, supposedly...yet, then again, she's paying everybody's wages, so ultimately, she should know what's going on in the music company she started for her son's music...

To me, She's to blame either way: If she knew what was going on and allowed it, then as everybody says, that would certainly be wrong...but isn't it just as wrong to not educate yourself (Afeni) on what the current status is regarding all the music that's coming out of your own company? if she wasn't given information then the person who roadblocked it should be fired, otherwise, she's at fault either way.

Would one of these 2 middle-aged women be Dina LaPolt?

Whatever happened to her doing an interview with hitemup a couple months back?
IDK about a couple months ago but I'm pretty sure she was interviewed by hitemup.com in the recent past...perhaps i'm mixing this up with a streethop interview or some other company, but i dont think so..
