10th anniversary edition of AEOM ?

amaru ent. missed so many chances of 10th anniversary editions of pac albums.
i hope death row will not pass that chance!
since so many less fortunate rappers rerelease their old albums with lots of bonus tracks along with a bonus dvd, i think at least this 2pac album deserves a "special editon"!
i would love to see all AEOM music videos in full length, uncut, untagged and in digital stereo on one dvd along with a making of + a couple of bonus tracks that didn't make it on the album.

anything cut from AEOM , i highly doubt they would even think about puttin all tha cuts on there. songs like Blunt Tyme, Komradz, other songs we never even heard of, but that would be awesome.

didn't deathrow/amaru already re-release All Eyez On Me and Makaveli as Enhanced CD's and put videos on them? I know makaveli has to live and die in l.a. video on it and california love is on all eyez on me.

It's a good idea to re-release it (again), possibly with a bonus track or two like what Nas did with Illmatic. But come on, we all know how fucking stupid Amaru Records is, they are a bunch of idiots. They don't know how to make a proper album or even make as much money as they could by moving more units through things like videos, decent production (when necessary), a decent cover, etc.

not gonna happen, is a DEATH ROW CD, maybe DEATH ROW will try and pull some shit like that.

but I much rather have something like this for his earlyer albums

how about THUG LIFE the way he wanted it, now there is a project worth while.

Maybe if its re-released, then they will update the damn sales. That album has got to be past diamond by now.
Its DEFINATLY past Diamond for sure.....I use to work for a music store and spoke to reps all the time. I had one of them get me the sales figures for AEOM, and according to the report he brought me, it had sold 5.44 million units, which after you double it (which you have to do as double albums count twice), comes out to 10.88 million. So not only is it Diamond, but its probably at 11 million by now and is most likely the highest selling rap album of all time, as those numbers he gave me were in 2003.

Sadly, Suge nor Death Row has paid for the album to be certified so we may never see the album get certified again. But yea, its Diamond, and has been for a while now.

anyway, why cant be get remastered versions of 2Pacalypse Now and Strictly??

If I remember correctly, All Eyez on Me was certified 9X platinum in either 1998 or 1999. I'm sure that over the following six or seven years, it has sold another million. Hopefully it can officially be certified diamond, even Biggie's Life After Death is a diamond record.

June of 98'. Been over 7 years....and its been on the back catalog charts during that ENTIRE span. Today, it still sells between 10-20K a week. That doesnt sound like alot, but for a near 10-year old album (especially a rap album), that is ASTRANOMICAL. It sells more then most other rap albums that are only half its age or younger. To give you an idea, it is pushing more units then GRODT is.

Greatest Hits, MATW, and 7 Day Theory still sell alot too, though AEOM is the most consistant.
