you know City could be paying for the transfer of Tevez themselves to help balance their finances

its very strange to me how Corinthians can come up with sort of money.

The majority of Brazilian clubs have signed a TV deal worth £80m for the big teams. Expect Brazilian clubs in general to hold on to their stars more often and even sign some back.

And the Brazilian Economy is rapidly increasing. Brazilians have a lot more money than they have ever had before. Corinthians fan base makes most clubs look pathetic.

Stipe Pletikosa on the verge of signing to Celtic FC. I guess he got tired of being on the bench after Redknapp promised him over and over again that he'd get his start.

Lennon is still thinking about it apparently; he said he wants to play him in a game where he is more tested before signing him.

Sanchez joins Barcelona. Might mean David Villa will be slowly phased out of the side, even though he scored 23 goals, is that deemed as a success? Seeing as Zlatan scored 22. but in fewer games but he was deemed as a flop.

Barcelona sends Krkic to AS Roma in lucrative deal

Barcelona sold striker Bojan Krkic to Roma on Friday in a complicated deal that could net the Spanish club €40 million ($58 million) — or cost it C1 million ($1.4 million).
Barcelona said in a statement that the Serie A club agreed to the €12 million ($17 million) transfer, which includes an obligatory buyback clause at the end of the 2012-13 season when Krkic would cost the Spanish champion €13 million ($19 million). But if Roma blocks the move, the value of the original transfer increases to €40 million.
The 20-year-old Krkic, an Under-21 Spain international, scored seven goals from 35 appearances last season, mostly coming off the substitutes' bench.

"There were definitely moments where I felt the club wasn't right with me," Krkic, with his voice breaking, said during Friday's news conference. "I didn't understand this season's decisions and that affected my confidence. I had a lot less minutes but in the end it's not about whether it's just or not, this is the situation now."
Krkic exploded into Barcelona's squad in 2007-08 when he scored 10 goals and set a record as Barcelona's youngest scorer in the league at 17. But he was mostly confined to the bench with coach Pep Guardiola's arrival the following season, and leaves for Italy with 43 goals from 157 appearances over four seasons.
Krkic said Guardiola didn't give him enough opportunities when the player was touted as a major talent after coming up through the club's youth ranks.

"Over the last few years the club didn't seem to have enough confidence in me," Krkic said as teammates Carles Puyol and Xavi Hernandez looked on. "And that hurt, of course. I still feel it was a privilege to be a part of this team the past years, that I helped make Barca the best team in the world. I still see my exit as positive."
Krkic, who helped Barcelona win nine trophies over the past three seasons, will join former Barcelona B coach and player Luis Enrique, who was recently hired by Roma.

"I hope my role is an important one at Roma," Krkic said. "Each team has its own interests at heart."
The deal could be seen as a quick money injection for Barcelona, which paid Udinese €26 million ($37 million) for Chile forward Alexis Sanchez on Thursday and is currently negotiating with Arsenal over the transfer of Cesc Fabregas.
The European champions went into the summer with a transfer budget of €45 million ($65 million) and has also spent €2 million ($2.9 million) on forward Kiko Femenia. Krkic's move brings the balance to €29 million ($42 million) with Arsenal eyeing a reported €40 million for Fabregas.

Aqualini is going to Fiorentina? I thought he was the missing piece? He deserves a chance at Liverpool.

This transfer window has been so boring. Unless you're a fan of Malaga and PSG. Malaga signed Cazorla and PSG have signed, Sirigu, Sissoko from Juventus and Menez from Roma.

he came on with ten minutes to go in this evening friendly and changed the game.

i think its more an issue with him wanting to return to Italy. fuck that though. we paid alot of money for him and if he goes back to Italy is had to be on the clubs terms imo. why should Liverpool loan him out again this season.

Milan may bid for Aquilani

his agent has said he isnt in the liverpools coaches plans.

so he is in AC Milan's plans but not Liverpools? that makes a lot of sense. an absolute disgrace if he is sold.

cant see Liverpool making the top 4 this season. will be 5th or 6th i think.

Vucinic joins Juventus. Roma will miss him.

Pastore pretty much has joined PSG for £30m. I wish PSG were in the Champions League.

Liverpool look likely to sign Jose Enrique. always thought he was a good left back. especially attacking wise and if the fee is 6-8 million like they are saying then it would be good i think.

Liverpool also linked with a move for Gary Cahill
