I dunno where our old epic thread is, but this one is now created.

Today:
AC Milan - Tottenham
Valencia - Schalke.

It's about to kick off in a bit.

PS: Fuck Redknapp for throwing Bale back into the line up and keeping Kranjcar out.

Bale didn't play. He never even travelled to Milan due to his injury.

Anyway deserved win for Spurs. Milan were terrible and tried to kick Spurs off the park. Corluka taken off injured due to a 2 footer by Flamini.

That was poor from Gattuso. I agree with Souness, Gattuso's main attribute was his tenacity and stamina. As he's getting older he's losing both and gives away too many free kicks.

^^ yea he isnt the player he was.

but he has won 3 european cups and a world cup so he cant be as bad as Souness says.

Milan were awful. Ibrahimovic poor again in a big game. and this the team on top of serie a. and to think that Napoli are in second and Liverpool's second team beat them easlly. i still think Inter are miles better than the rest down there. they are just on a hangover year and i think they'll still end up winning it.

AC Milan and Spurs were both missing a whole host of players though. Thiago Silva was forced to play in midfield.

Ibra didn't get any service, everytime they tried to pass to him it was blocked out.

I still think Palermo would've done a better job in the Champions League than the rest of the Italians teams.

I was mistaken with Bale, I thought I saw his punk face and I overreacted lol. Nonetheless... Overall, it was another boring CL match, I thought.

Tomorrow

Arsenal - Barcelona
Roma - Shakthar

I didn't find it boring. I thought it was a great match. I was almost a spurs fan. And I really wanted to fight Gattuso. It's a shame everyone else was scared to.

The old thread probably got dragged down the forum doldrums during the CL break.

Back in 2005 when I was in South Africa, I had a chat with my University football coach. He told me that if it wasn't for football, Gattuso would probably have been locked up in jail somewhere. Not that he was knocking him down, he was just making a reference to his attitude 'non football' on the pitch. I also did see a CL magazine show where they went into Gattuso's home for an interview with him. Real family guy, pretty close with his wife & kids and.............he had a puppy that he seemed really attached to :D Anyway, I concluded that the man is totally different off the pitch.

Tottenham are playing brilliant in Europe, way above my expectations. I still think the CL will affect their race for 4th place in the Premier League.

Fuck Roma, they were acting like they got an easy draw, shocking arrogance when Roma are pretty average. I hope Shaktar destroy them.

RvP goal. It's a tied game. Valdez could have done better on that though. Nonetheless... gonna be an interesting last 10 minutes.

Yeah. Arsenal still have a long battle ahead of them in Camp Nou - never easy to play there.

On another note, Shakhtar 3 - 2 Roma.

Bwahahahahaha, fucking mambo Italianos.
