Anyone going to watch? I'm stoked, as always. Go Serbia. We have a tough group as we are going against Italy, France, Germany. I don't fear Israel and Latvia much.

I know you're joking but I'm going to pull a Casey here and drop knowledge on you.

You couldn't be more wrong. There's about 40 NBA players in the tournament. The whole French team is damn near NBA players. After the World Championships and Olympics, the Euros are the most significant basketball tournament.

There's a lot of good teams in the tournament. It's tough to say. Spain is a favorite mainly because they won in 2009 and still have all the talent. (We beat them at the Worlds so fuck Spain). If solely judging on paper, there's no reason France shouldn't take it all. But when it comes to international competition, team play is so crucial, as Nowitzki has learned in his days of not winning gold, ever. When it comes to teams who win or come close lately, you're looking at Lithuania, Serbia, Russia, Greece, and Spain.

Bosnia beat the Monteniggers.

We were leading Greece yesterday until the 3rd fucking quarter where we always fuck up.

I really don't know why Mirza Teletovic doesn't try the NBA. He's a sick sick sick sick shooter at 6'9''. He has such a sexy jumpshot. And he's physical unlike most Euros...

Anyway, can't wait for Croatia-Bosnia.

Yeah, I saw some highlights, he's good. I think he went undrafted a few years back. I'm not sure how the rules go but I think after you go undrafted, the only option is to sign as a free agent, like Ben Wallace did.

With the Euroleague the way it is now, I don't see why one would want to try the NBA. I think it has lost a lot of its allure (money being exception) especially if you're not one of the top players in Europe, you don't need to compete at a higher level anyway.

Euroleague players have it still good though. While the pay isn't in the highest like in the NBA, for the most part - the association will buy players their cars and pay for their apartments... all the players have to do is pay for their outings, and extras (boats and hoes). It's the same for the hockey team in Zagreb. Usually that's for those with a lower pay.

That being said, too bad our savez is fucking stupid to the point that their don't hire proper coaching. As for the players, they're fuckers. I heard that the average salary for our players on the NT is about 1.4 MIL Euros - The whole FYROM team probably doesn't even hit close to 1.4 MIL. Sram ih bilo. Tomic has to toughen up already, the kid shits talents, but he's too damn soft.

Should be good against Bosnia though, I think we've only met them once or twice... 95' quarter-finals... and?

Medvescak. lol.

They play in the Austrian hockey league, which has teams from Slovenia, Hungary and Czech Republic. It's huge in Zagreb. Sell out every match (even though its only a 7000 seater), many of the players are Canadian, even the coach is Canadian. I think it's just a fad, but there were talks about them joining the Russian league...
