So im sure everybody is dealing with the rough economy these days. My question is how are you dealing with it? Is it affecting you in a bad or good way? Have you or know somebody who has lost their house?

Me personally im living really good. Things couldn't be going better for me. I recently took advantage of the amazingly low prices of houses and so i put my old house up for rent to an unfortunate family that lost their own house and i moved myself into a bigger and better house. I'm also on the look out for a new Bulldog puppy but have yet to find one that i really like. Besides the shitty gas prices im not having a hard time at all with the rough economy.

Honestly, with the rough economy it made it easier to survive. I went 4 months without a job on just savings i saved from a minimum wage job. Yet, b4 the economy really got fucked up, i was kind of living pay check to pay check. So i can just imagine how good things must be for the people who have jobs b/c i wouldn't have been able to do that shit without a job a year or two ago.

If all things go well with my job, i can pretty much get a new house as well. My mom is going to see if she can get two houses. She is allowed to get one big one, but shes probably going to buy 2 4 bedrooms and rent out the other like you.

It really hasn't affected me I'd say mostly because I'm a student. If I were working it would be a bit more concerning as people are worried they'll lose their job. It actually has been good for me.. I'm getting $950 from my government, no strings attached, no tax.. :) Just a lil bonus..

That's wassup. I'm gettin about 4 grand financial aid to go to school, and to pay tuition and books. The money i don't use I save just in case. I think i've become more financially conservative.

I got laid off cuz the company I worked for shut down. So then I started a lil business on ebay, and paypal (those sons of bitches) froze my funds so they have 4 g's of mine... and wont give it up for 6 months... aaannnd I'm set to graduate in December with lil chance of getting a job cuz of the economy.... But I aint complainin', I been through worse, gotta always be grateful for what u got.

oh and btw, fuck an economic recession. This aint no crisis, its a crisis when our stomachs are bloated and pockets are full, and we still let motherfuckers starve in our cities and overseas

Oh I also have to add that the current economy makes my job even safer since I am a collection agent and my bank is hiring like crazy.

got back from vegas last night...what's with mexicans monopolizing the "hooker flyer" handouts on the strip? I understand the guys doing it, but I saw women too. Kinda sad.

beats being a drug mule, though.

It's hard to say right now. See, we musicians have the double hit of the bad economy, and nobody buying music on top of that.

Things have been slow over the past 3 months or so, but given that we just released our new EP, our new video is dropping in a couple weeks, and we have a new compilation out in May, things should pick up quite a bit, we already have a lot of summer gigs booked so I'm not too worried.

Although, having said what I said about nobody buying music, our new single 'She's Mine' has already become one of our top 5 most downloaded songs on iTunes, so I'm pretty happy about that.
