Anyways, my mother finds it hard to believe people wear jeans at clubs. She's from the 70s disco times, where people dressed up. So, one night, she asked me where I'm going.

I told her, out clubbing with some friends. She's freaked out: "In jeans?! The bouncers will beat you up and kick you out!"

Personally, I rarely smoke these days. I find it makes me really quite which makes me feel awkward around people and I don't much enjoy that.

I've noticed you don't take jokes on the basis of race or religion lightly at all. Even if the jokes are about African-Americans, people you have no association with (bar hip-hop). It's a commendable trait, for sure.

I've met quite a few people like you and for the most part, I concluded that it was mainly due to white guilt. Now, I'm not saying that's your reasoning but I am wondering what the deal is.

My mom understands Tupacs songs as far as his singles go (even Hit em up)...and a few ones that werent singles like "Shorty wanna be a thug," etc... but songs like "When we ride on our enemies," she hates. It makes NO sense how she can like hit em up but not "when we ride on our enemies." (though, she didnt totally agree with the hit em up message).

My moms pretty gangsta, she can text and use the computer for a good amount of things.

When my car was stolen there was a rumor going around @ my work that someone was gassing up my car @ the gas station she manages and that she called the cops.

My mom replied to my manager, "Hell no, if the person who stole my sons car was gassing up, i would have stopped his pump and whipped his ass! no one fucks with my kid!" lmao


As far as things she doesnt understand:

College life she thinks its like high school and u can just not do the hw but still somehow learn and get away with it. Which leads to problems between us b/c i dont get as much chances to go to family events and she thinks i just dont want to be near the family and its nothing like that.

Also, What she doesnt understand is that music is changing, and she cannot simply enjoy ANY new music even the rare good music that we get every now and then (as far as rap goes), therefore my mom is now just a 90's Rap fan. (which isnt anything TOO bad)

She thinks Eminem is a dick to his mom and that she wont listen or give his music a chance...its not about their character that will make me buy someones music and she should know that otherwise, why the fuck did she like guys like fucking Prince (crackhead wife beater and shit)/ Michael Jackson (identifying/ sexuall abusive issues).

Please explain the second part of your post and take into consideration that i have achieved excellent results in my college degree, i have a very good job, am currently studying for another degree, i play football and other sports with clubs achieving numerous honours in each, i dont do drugs or smoke in order to keep in very good shape, get my fair share of women etc.
