No but seriously I was speaking with my psychology/research teacher about cancer a she had breast cancer, she said that some possible cure was to transfer new blood to the person suffering from cancer and that it would clean out the body. But then she was like "there's no way the pharmacology system is gonna let the government do that, they'd rather sell more drugs than cure people".

i look at it as a way to keep people down....its like this is the governments plot to slowly wipe people off of the planet..and this is how they are doing it...through medicine...and these drugs aren't all that good either...

There are a lot of natural treatments for cancer that have displayed success, but like you said, the pharmaceutical companies will not allow those to gain any attention because they make too much money off of medication.

I had skin cancer a couple of years back and luckily had it all removed.

do you think the government is a special race of people? do you think people are born politicians and they're raised to become part of the government and that there's some evil plan the government has to kill everyone else and just fuck each other and make more government people?? call me ignorant, but i dont think so...

the gov. help pharmaceutical companies out to make more money rather than cure the drug? well, you try making ethical decisions when you're also making billions of dollars... sure you want to help the general public but making drugs cheaper or finding a cure cuts into the entire company's profit as a whole.. and you're not the only one working for pfizer to make boner pills.. you got marketing, the actualy pharmacists, testers, researchers, etc... alotta people's jobs are at stake here

have no fear, though.. nanotechnology is here..almost...

The Government is a business and it makes its money from taxes on certain products. This is why cigarettes and alcohol are legal, because they are taxable, and marijuana is not.

The Government makes a lot of money from pharmaceutical companies, and thus they work hand in hand. The Government approves treatments and then makes money off of them. The pharmaceutical companies have huge budgets to squash any type of natural therapies because it would take away from their profits and thus from the Government's income.

If deceases could be cured by natural plants that are cheap to grow (and anyone can do it) these companies would loose all of their income. They cant make them illegal, as in the case of marijuana, so they discredit them and the Government never supports them and thus they are not allowed into mainstream medicine and are not recommended by doctors to patients.

On the other hand if you look at other Governments they are not so motivated. China for example recognizes Essiac as one of the leading treatments for Cancer, it is a herbal remedy developed in Canada in the 1930s from a Native American recipe. It is a tea. America does not recognize it as a treatment despite decades of evidence supporting it's success, yet China officially does, as do other countries.. Go figure.

all they do, is cure the outcome, but they keep forgetting to look at the reason why the cancer came.
in 2 weeks i'm going to the oncology clinic to get my pigmental marks examined. some of them have mutated, the skin is itching. i have problematic skin. hope in worst case they will only remove them.

that's bullshit. There can't be ONE cure for cancer. I mean, that topic is so complex, it's not that simple. Besides that, cancer is normal. The reasons why we have that many cases right now is that we can actually find it (compared with 100 years ago) and that people actually reach a certain age (again 100s of years ago people died before cancer could devellop)....... besides that, we live in a world that does boost cancer, we have to realize that. The stuff we eat, the stuff we breath, the stuff that is sourrounding us. cell phone, Wlan, electronic smog. All this together might be a reason why cancer is a problem today. But we don't want to live another way, but complain about the concequences - that's human.

in 2009 they'll cure cancer tho
by injecting a new virus into someones system
to help rid the cancer
but this will lead to Krippens Virus
and people will die
or turn into vampire zombies

sorry i just watched i am legend again then saw this thread.

ok i dont think government is responsible for cancer, maybe i'm naive, but i just dont buy it. aids, however, was created by government to rid the world of gays, really came back to bite ppl in the ass, right magic?
i think they'll eventually find a cure for cancer.

Today one in three people come down with cancer, and in the near future, it will be one in two. The.Menace is right. Reversing the trend will require taking an entirely new approach to research and treatment. Instead of continuing to view cancer as a single disease in need of a single cure, cancer must be addressed as a complex phenomenon, since multiple factors are involved.

Cancer is largely attributable to the cumulative impact of toxins on our systems. Over half of all cancers have been linked to lifestyle factors, with some estimates as high as 70 percent. Polluted air, water and food, play a major role, as do microscopic pathogens, such as parasites and viruses. Genetic tendencies and immunological weakness come into play, and psychological factors affect the incidence and course of cancer.

We have to take to heart that we are what we eat. The only material that can change you is what you give your body. So why would you give the cell, the DNA, the mitochondria something that would destroy, alter, or damage it? We have approximately 65-100 trillion cells. And we know that there are over 10,000 gene alterations per cell per day. The reason that our cells lose function as they age and become cancerous is because we damage them, rather than helping them repair themselves. Coffee, cigarettes, white bread, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, French fries, milk shakes, cheesecakes, bagels, grilled cheese sandwiches, white rice, colas and candies—these are the things that allow for the biochemical reactions that cause inflammation, free radical damage, and glycation that end up destroying, harming, or altering the DNA. Such damage occurs all the time, and will continue to as long as we are doing nothing to change it.

We don’t have to wait for a greedy, misguided medical system that will never come up with a “cure” for cancer. We need to focus on prevention and we need to take responsibility for our lives and choices. We already have a cure. What will help prevent it, will help cure it!

It’s time for us as a people to start making some changes. Let’s change the way we eat, let’s change the way we live, and let’s change the way we treat each other. You see, the old way wasn’t working, so it’s on us to do what we gotta do…to survive.

Thanks Pac.
