What's I'm wondering about is the jump from the evidence to your conclusion.
The evidence you provide obviously isn't conclusive. There are still "unanswered questions". You admit to lacking the needed engineering knowledge. You use phrases like "does not like right", "I would assume" and "just seems to". Even after revealing some of the evidence you don't go beyond saying it's suspect at the very least.
Then there's your sources. One thing that fools people is believing any expert is credible. Put a guy in a white coat and have him say cat urine is good for crow's feet and people will buy it. It should be clear by now that beyond anything it's
your reasoning, your arguments and your approach that's mainly being argued against. Who are these experts? What are their credentials? Who are these eyewitnesses? What's the source of their testimonials? Are the planes captured on video/picture military aircrafts? Are there videos of these aircrafts? What do the experts that say there was nothing suspect have to say? Do you have the engineering knowledge to discern between the two?
In your reply to ill-matic you confirmed that you don't have really have the truth, you're just looking for it. It's great that you are but just because people aren't looking for the truth in the same places as you doesn't mean they're not looking for the truth at all. Imagine if none of the stuff you said about these societies and 9/11 was true. Would that change the following point of yours?
"Look, the government controls the heck out of us as it is, and they are supposed to be there for us, to look after the people, instead they take huge bribes, sorry "donations" so that people get whatever they want passed in whatever avenue they want, it's just plain wrong. Go to any poor hood, then to the hills or some shit, and just see how fair our country and world is.
Elitism, power, money, materialism, competition and ego are all BIG things that our media push onto us, to aspire to that crap and that's what keeps us divided because mostly we eat it by the mouthfull."
No it wouldn't. Secret societies or not these are legimitmate issues. But then why is it that every time someone doesn't believe something you say you make them out to be people that, as opposed to you, are not seeking the truth, do accept everything the media tells them, don't realize the government manipulates them?
You should also realize that your reasons for needing to know if 9/11 was a hoax might be different from others. You said "
I too would be on the neverending bandwagon riding in to the never ending "war on terror" if I haven't read all the suspect crap about 9/11". That shows that the knowledge of 9/11 has an important effect on your behavior. You think it's a hoax so you do this, if you thought it was real you'd be on the bandwagon for the "war on terror". That's
you. For a lot of people this knowledge wouldn't really change anything. It wouldn't for me. I think the reason why you're getting so defensive and stressing the importance is because this particular incident is important to you and then you have people calling you a crackpot for sharing thoughts that you consider serious and important. But even if 9/11 was a hoax it'd be just 1 of countless things that people need to be aware of. And as you have said yourself, it's still in question.
Especially since you're not certain you should maybe lay off saying people have been duped. What do you think this thread would've looked like if you had started it off with:
"Look, the government controls the heck out of us as it is..."?
My initial thought would be "no shit". You're not posting anything new. It's good that you're looking for the truth but it's arrogant and self-righteous to post non-conclusive evidence and write off anyone that disagrees with you as unaware. If you're on 1 side of an argument it's always good to apply what you say about others to yourself. Is it easier to pretend that all the raised and unanswered questions we have for you are just from people that have their heads in the sand rather than people who have legitimate problems with your posts? Or maybe you should ask if it's easier to accept that secret societies are ruining the world? When it's all a bunch of random, isolated incidents it's harder to deal with it all. If there's 1 group to blame, 1 entity to direct all these negative feelings towards, it makes it a lot easier.
I hate the "well, what are you going to do?" mentality but when it comes to things like these it's really a moot point. You're not going to expose them, you're not going to bring them to justice, you're not going to stop them in any direct manner. And there's still the much needed certainty. What you can do is try to bring awareness to the bad things they supposedly do. And I don't mean possible prison camps, possible microchips etc. I mean stuff that's actually happening right now. Again, that's why I posted those 4 wikipedia links to anti-consumerism etc.
You'll have a hell of a bigger shot at making people aware of things like that than the possible existence of secret societies and ultimately it works towards the same goals. Unless you simply have a need to force your reality of others you'd be better served doing proper research and presenting different arguments in a different way.
There's also such a thing as an awareness knight. All awareness, no solutions.
EDIT: "
and I will do a new thread, point by point by point why I think there is a coverup going on, may take me some time, but I'll do it"
It took you 10 pages but finally.
