MySpace was bought today by a company called Simplicity Media. Justin Timberlake (who played Sean Parker in the Facebook movie) has a stake in the deal. The real Sean Parker gave a lengthy explanation as to why MySpace failed in an interview last week.

And to top it off, Tom Anderson (OG MySpace guy) comments on the news, on TechCrunch. Hilarity ensues. Someone suggests that if they make a movie about MySpace, Sean Parker should be cast as Justin Timberlake.

Epic lulz.

I think the gay guy who commented that he wishes Ashton Kutcher was CEO of Oracle wins.

How do I know he's gay? He wishes Ashton Kutcher was CEO of Oracle. In case that was lost on anyone.

That's major fail. They bought it for 585 mill and sold it for like 35mill, right?

The thing that is funny is that when it was bought, it was already dieing, so...that was ALWAYS a bad purchase, imo.
