Worst Amaru Remix

u know, the funny thing about all the tracks everyone hates on....they might not be the greatest, but they still shit on a lot of the hip hop music of today...why? i dont know...i think Pac is strong enough to carry the worse beats... im not a fan of that hennessey track, but i know a couple dudes that love that particular song off L2TG... i think its coo... for me, the biggest let downs are the beats for Whatz Next and Who Do U love...even then, the beats arent that bad, but in my mind I was expecting so much more...so much more... so much more... so much f'n more.... =) still, tupac is the shiizzzzit

It's hard to pick just one, but here are the ones that I think are the WORST (not just the bad ones, but the really bad ones).
* Tattoo Tears - A perfectly fine beat was ruined, foreshadowing E.D.I.'s inability to produce good beats.
* U Can Be Touched - The beat is decent, but the fact that they yanked Pac's recorded verse out just so Napolean could rap a verse that he didn't even write was pretty dumb.
* Fuck Friendz - Another hot beat was ruined, and this one was a lot worse than the one that appeared on Too Gangsta 4 Radio.
* Words 2 My First Born - A deep beat for a serious song was turned into a half-assed club beat with Above the Law rapping about some bullshit that doesn't even really go with the song.
* Whatcha Gonna Do - E.D.I.'s wack-ass production is even worse after listening to the OG again, plus Noble's unnecessary involvement in the chorus doesn't help.
* Catchin Feelins - While the OG beat wasn't all that great, E.D.I.'s bouncy-ass beat reminds me too much of Tattoo Tears.
* Soldier like Me - Em's slow-ass drumbeats and corny-ass chorus are just horrible.
* Ghetto Gospel - The fact that they cut out lines and a verse is horrible, plus the half-assed beat isn't inspiring enough to even be uplifting.
* N.I.G.G.A. - The intro reminiscent of Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood and the simple beat that just goes up and down with too little variation spoils the song.
* Crooked Nigga Too - It's bad enough that we had songs slowed down, now this one was sped up pretty bad, plus the strings in the song were obviously intended to sound complex but instead sucked.
* Hennessey - The polka beat belongs on a Weird Al album.
* Thug 4 Life - The gypsy beat is terrible.
* Untouchable Swizz Beatz Remix - Aside from the lame chorus from Krayzie Bone, the entire beat is based off of one note. Plus it's weaksauce.

The worst Amaru remix imo is probably U Don't Have to Worry from UTEOT. The intro started out good, but the song was nothing like I expected after hearing the whole thing. They should've kept in Storms verse. I think it had potentional to be an even better track than it is if they produced it differently. Maybe if they kept the OG.
Words 2 My First Born takes the cake. The og version with the added sax matches the lyrics and Pac's emotions with the perfect vibe. The remixed version is not only horrible but the beat prevents anyone from feeling that same emotion.
When considering fuckups, I think you also have to look at the remixes relative to their og versions. Words 2 My First Born would have undoubtedly been a classic hit had they left it untouched. Although International is awful, you have to admit that the original wasn't so hot either.

5. Still Ballin' (I tried to like it in the beginning, but couldn't)
6. Both Fair Exchange remixes & Thug In Me remixes

8. Ghost (I really ain't feelin tha beat for some reason. It sounds like Pac was too forced)
