Their win against Germany was luck. They had a lot of luck in this WC, BUT! you have to admit that luck is part of the game. They deserved to win, although I dislike it.

I have no problem with Italy winning. They've really grown into the tournament as a very solid, rockhard team.

Materazzi: when he keeps his head clear, one of the best defenders in the world, period. His effort is beyond measure. Hard for the opponent but also hard on himself.

Gattuso: the eternal workhorse

Grosso: the back that comes forward, sweetness.

Pirlo: brings creativity to the team

Zambrotta: energetic player that defends strongly and can make a good run too

Cannavaro: exceptional defender

Buffon: great keeper
and the list goes on. Italy played very well tonight. France's penalty, well, I wasn't convinced it was one. Deserved win for Italy imo, france played very well too.


The thing that caused me pain was Zidane's exit.

France played better and controlled the game. Italy won but it doesnt really seem like it. Pretty good game though, both sides played real tough giving it their all as seen at the end on extra time, they looked exhausted but kept goin. Good world cup thoough

Was a very nice game. I actually wanted Italy to win for some reason. What zidan did was infantile. He was in the presence of the whole world and he acts that way, it's embarrassing for him and his team.
