would you want to be buried or cremated???

not trying to bum anyone out. but has it ever cross your mind at least once. which way would you choose to finally rest in peace.

i would go with cremation, its cheaper quicker. and your body wouldnt have to lay 6 feet deep. and bugs and worms eating your body, even though you wouldnt feel it.

would anybody donate themselves for science???

not sure, both ways have there positives and negatives. such as if you somehow come back to life just before you are going to be cremated u would be burned alive. if you get buried and you wake up then you have been buried alive, which would suck.

if i had the money and if i die young i would like to be cryogenicly(sp?) frozen and once they had the power to bring me back to life they could unfreeze me. that way i could see how much the world had changed, and if it sucks i could just kill myself.

belive it or not when i die i want to donate my organs to those who need them.. allthough my lungs and liver wouldnt be of much use..

I then want to be scattered, I don't want my ashes in a plot... Haven't decided where yet...

I want my funeral to be cheap as fuck... I am dead and will not give a fuck how swanky it is...

Saying that... I don't wanna donate my organs in case there is an afterlife and I will not be whole... I feel guilty for all those who want my organs... But I'm sorry.

that's a nice sentiment and i agree. i wouldn't want something fancy either. but in many cases, the burial isn't about the deceased but about the people he/she left behind saying goodbye. in many ways, you are not the main character in your own funeral, your closest family and friends are.

the question then becomes, do you want to be remembered as a half rotten guy in a cardboard box with some "c u xoxoxo" on the side? if so, good, i like your selflessness

I prefer the cardboard coffin... But want no shorthand on the side. I also want cremation, so no body rotting.
