Well here, there's only one private school and it's 25 minutes away and it's expensive as hell. The kids there are stuck up and think they're better than everybody else. My kids go to public school and that's the only way I'd have it. To me, it's more a diversity of people. They don't wear uniforms either. In a way that's good because the kids get to express their individuality but then in a way it's not so good because the poorer kids don't have the nice clothes and whatnot so they're picked on sometimes. But their schools have a zero tolerence policy for bullying so it's not so bad. I don't have alot of money as I raise my kids by myself but if nothing else, I make sure they wear nice clothes and shoes. Especially my oldest son because he's in middle school now and it's almost like a fashion show there. He plays sports and all so he hangs out with the preppy, jock people so he wears what the in-style thing is among the jocks. Which is fine by me because hanging out with that crowd will keep him focused on sports and off of getting in trouble.
But newayz, that was waaaay off topic lol I think public schools are better because the kids get to interact with a more diverse crowd of people instead of just kids that are rich like them.
