Dear Mama

I remember when i was 13 years old and a classmate handed over the Me Against The World album to me. I was definetly not into rap music at the time but i fell in love with Tupac's music the exact moment i heard it. I was like "who the hell is this dude?"....And he said "He's dead". That was so sad. I will always remember those words.

I ain't mad at cha

This was the first song I heard on the radio by pac, cuz they barely play hiphop or even tupac back in the day :(
But they had to play it cuz it was in top 10 of the charts then...

I was about 8 when Pac died so I wasn't really paying attetion to much. I remember but I wasn't into him until I saw the videos for I Wonder If Heaven Got A Ghetto or Changes. It were the first songs I memorized from Pac (since some of the lyrics are the same)

These threads used to be golden back in the old days of Pacboard, like 9/10 people who replied would always try and make out that they were rockin Pac back from when Same Song was released when they were like 4 years old LOL

Unfortunately around the time Same Song was released I think I was more interested in my babywalker and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles :D but however many years later I do remember flicking through channels one day and I caught the end of the video for Changes and I was like totally awe struck, and I loved the song, So i went online and I remember I read up on Pac for hours on end lol and got all his albums for christmas that year, some 6 years later. a lotta things have changed but I still love his music as much as ever

i used to trade cds with my friend when i was about 13 years old and after a while he ran out of shit that i liked so he stole a couple cds from his brother and traded them to me; one was mystical- mind of mystical, and the other one was RUSTILLdown? that was when i fell in love with tupac's lyrics and within like 6 months i had all the cds that were out, and bought those that came out after on the release dates.

I didn't start listening to Pac regularly till I was around 15 (1999). I had Me Against the World/AEoM but I was more into Wu, Cypress, Nas, Busta/flipmode, BigPun etc at the time. It wasn't until I bought Thug Life vol 1 on sale that I got into Pac, Syke and Outlawz.

Shit I couldn't say I was into Pac when I was 5 I was bumping Maestro Fresh Wes, McHammer and NewKids on the block lol
