What Killed Saturday Morning Cartoons?

Actually, I would think Saturday mornings are still alive...for poorer children. They're parents can't afford cable (Cartoon network, etc), nor the internet.

These kids get to feel the wonders of waking up early in the morning just to see whatever cartoons are left on whatever channels they may catch.

Who would have known maybe these kids are better off then the rich snots.

Well I watch saturday morning cartoons on Fox from time to time (Waiting for EPL football). And its mostly Japanese Anime based series.

TMNT is on again which is awesome though. Old ones were better of course.

I love Rukas.

Man, this thread brought back memories. I remember on saturday mornings, it was G-Force, Transformers, and even Pokemon. Remember anticipating the next Saturady?! Seeing if Charizard would listen to Ash during the Pokemon Stadium League. Anyways, Dragonball Z was my number one show.

"Next time on DRAGONBALL Z: As the cyborg Freiza commences to blow up planet Earth, a mysterious young with sword rudely interrupts. Not only that, he's Super Saiyan. As Vegeta and Gohan watchs from the distance in amazement, confusion is also flowing with them. Could this new Super Saiyan actually destroy Frieza. Find out next time on DRAGONBALL Z! Da da da da, la la la la la, da da da da, da da da da da da daaaaaaaaa da!
