Pac knew when he signed that contract what was going to happen. Family has said he knew it was a bad decision, so why would he be better off in Jail when he'd take such a risk with DR? Because Jail was hell for him and it would have turned him insane.

Ye Pac for sure knew what he was getting into, but he also knew why he was getting into it. Deathrow and Badboy were already on rocky grounds, so bringing Pac into the crew was a good move for them. Pac was looking for a new start, but to settle old business. The 2 come together like magnets. It was inevitable that he moved to Deathrow. Suge was looking for a big star, he saw that potantial in Pac. Pac was looking for a way to get back at muthafuckaz, and he saw THAT Potential in Deathrow.

So Suge bringing that contract upto 2pac was like him saying:

"You got something I want, and I got something you want"

If you ask me, it was a deal of a lifetime for Pac at that particular point. Deathrow era was all about getting his respect back. He felt humiliated.

Its a famous Machiavelli saying:

"Since love and fear can hardly exist together, if we must choose between them, it is far safer to be feared than loved" -

DR was a feared label, a label soo fierce Pac declined there 1st offer saying he wasnt ready for that shit yet. He knew what was goin on around them ways with the crooks and the dodgy dealings. But now shit was different, he was willing to take that risk cuz respect meant alot more to him at that point. Writing song after song after song after song, he didnt wanna stop ! He felt humilated and destroyed from what happened to him and that was too much for Pac, he went crazy. DR was the only place safe for him outside of jail, he was still a marked man. Well it was that or Cuba, but how you gonna settle an old score in Cuba?

But i tell you another thing totally off subject now, here's another Machiavelli Quote:

"He who blinded by ambition, raises himself to a position whence he cannot mount higher, must thereafter fall with the greatest loss."

Could this have been part of the prophecy he had of himself dying young?

Peace ..!

I think its as simple as Pac wanted out of jail at any cost (I remember in an interview or maybe in Thug Angel) he had a hit out on him while in there. He didnt want the last place for people to see him to be jail so he got out at any cost, his life. He had no other option nobody else could afford his bail, and ontop of that he wanted revenge because he couldnt do or say much back to what his enemies were spinning while locked down. Pac was never gonna spend his full sentance in jail he was either going to die or be free.

I think people need to ascertain what 'being alive' really means. Tupac may not be hear in a physical sense, but he sure is here as something else (philosophically speaking). If anything Tupac being on DR projected him into the world.

If death means non existence then who are we talking about?

what i meant was if he was here in a physical form....not spiritually

i dont think there was any way pac was gona stay in jail, if he stayed and did all his time it would alter alot of shit today and im not sure it would be any for the better.

so what about livin longer when he got out of jail he gained the power he needed to do everythin he always planned to do. he was clear headed and stayed out of all the trouble, besides his beefs. and was pushin and starin loads programs and shit and was a multi platinum superstar, while on the most succesful and notorious label in the game. crossin more boundaries, doin movies again. all in less a year,he gained all of this from Nothing in prison. and everythin he did to the game when he got out...

it was all fate there was no other way pac could have went he knew this was his chance and maybe the only chance. jail was killin him and watwas he sayin from the time he got out to the end? 'i'd rather die than go back'

and at the time i couldnt picture him bailin and signin with any other label, and with that i didnt even know there Were any other labels givin him the offers with the cash to make it happen.

why have worthless wishful thinkin that he Stayed in jail? why just because he died a year later?
look at all he accomplished when he got out of jail til he died in the short span

i believe that because of what he was accomplishing and still yearning to accomplish he was killed
be happy for what pac got to do and the life he got to live w/ all the ups and downs.

but again i think its dumb to think bout this shit because it was all fate, wasnt in anybodys hands really. pac from beginin to the end its all there :thumb:
