Uterine Cancer

If it's Stage 1 and hasn't spread, it is very treatable with a high success rate. Outcome depends a lot on how old she is and how healthy she is otherwise.

I don't know of the stage. She just found out and hasn't told us anything.

She found out because, apparently she had a period at the age of 70.

She is very healthy, still walking on her own, eating healthy and sleeping well.

Your last sentence doesn't mean much. People with cancer can live a long time before it truly becomes disastrous on her physically. But like Jokerman said, if caught early, many cancers are treatable.

Hope she gets better man. Let her be as scared as she wants, but those around her are gonna need to support her and one of the best ways to do it is to not panic yourself. If she's panicking and others are not, she may relax a bit more and a lot of the time, the victim's attitude has a lot to do with how they recover. You and your family are positive she will be too.

Hope it's in its early stages so it's resolved quickly. It ain't easy, man. Sorry to hear. :(

I got word last night that she has a tumor on in the uterus the size of a brick and they can't take it out and she may be too old to recover from any treatment.

:( I don't know what to say Shadows.. Sucks. Just spend all the time with her that you can and try not to spend it too sad.. Say all the things you want to tell her, I didn't with my Nanna and it's a regret I have.

I may be stating the obvious here but chemo is very tough on a person, regardless of age. How old is abuela?

^it's hard to see someone so active becoming so weak in such little time.

just try to enjoy wtv time you have with her. but don't act around her like it's her last days. try to spend quality time you know. she's probably stressed enough as she is, no need to make her more stressed.
