Damn, I forgot you existed the past six months.

I'm still in my vacation spot for school. Last semester here. Two weeks.

Where are u again?

I went to south beach couple weeks ago and then to Maine for a week too. Both were amazing trips.

I was stuck thinking what to do this summer, having already been to places I wanted to see the most, while at the same time wanting to see something new. I guess I'll travel East Asia. It'd be my dream travel 5 years ago, but now it feels just like a fine idea.

Have you ever been to the caribbeans Simon? Where are the places you've wanted to travel and have already? Also, now that I'll be living in Las Vegas, gives you one more reason to visit the sin city!

St Kitts.

Speaking of the Caribbean, unless you like hot weather, beaches, and random excursions, there's really nothing else here. People come here to gamble. Go to Vegas for that and have some more fun. If you want to see these coon locals and go in to the jungles for ziplining, then try the Caribbean. Otherwise, you're just gonna have a bad time.

Maybe it's because I've been here for two years, but it really is a shit place to live. And aside from titty bars on some islands (St. Maarten) and the casinos in pretty much every island, you're not missing much. I guess it's good to go once. Just go to a good island, like Maarten or Lucia. Not Kitts.

I love me the caribbeans, sit on the beach for literally hours on end, I love the waters. It's also a cheap getaway.

Cheap? St. Shitts is about $600+ round trip. Maybe the other islands are cheaper. But I don't imagine so.

The beaches are nice, but if you don't like the beach and getting burned and shit, it might not be for you. I could sit on the beach for hours too with friends, just drinking and talking. It is a beautiful view too. But I was never a beach person, and if Masta were to come alone, it wouldn't be that fun.

I wanted to see and have been to Hawaii, west Canada, Cali, and most of Europe. Not in the Carribean so far, but people from Hawaii always said it's like "the third world Hawaii", lol. I guess the best nature-related things specific to those places are kinda the same. You just don't have any dangerous or venomous animals in Hawaii, and Hawaii feels like an island that is technically US with more laid-back people, culture and feel, but at the same time it's not lazy most of the time.
I wanted to go to Japan, Hong Kong and Korea and I guess I'll do that now. It's just that I love traveling alone for the sake of adventure and meeting people wherever I go, that's always worked awesome for me. It's much harder in East Asia though.
Years ago I'd be like "awesomeness, I'll be chilling in the streets of those cool old-school Japanese towns doing whatever I like there, adventure!". Now I'm like "cool, but what am I gonna do, how am I going to communicate, what am I going to eat, I can't eat fish, I don't want to die from fish, how silly that'd be" etc. Growing up sucks at times :D

The Caribbean is like that. I've never been to Hawaii, but I'm sure it's the Carib with US perks.

I wanted to go to Japan when I was ten and into Pokemon. And video games. I thought how cool it would be to be in the land it was created in. Now I have no interest. I would rather visit China, like Beijing or Shanghai because they're so big and populated.

All fish or just shellfish?

All fish, I'm allergic to fish protein. It's not like I'd die from just trying a tiny piece, but I'd spend the rest of the day in the bathroom. If I ate something I didn't know was fish and had a little more of it, it could be severe. So I'd have to dine at western restaurants in Japan as the Japanese tend to sneak in some fish to almost every meal or sauce. That kinda sucks and is the only thing holding me back a little. Other than the language barrier - I speak some very basic Japanese but can't read Kanji, and what I know is not enough to befriend locals, and it's rare to find English-speaking people in smaller towns there.

You should reenact Shenmue. As them if they know what Shenmue is, and then just run around town, asking where your father is and picking fights with Japanese thugs in alleys.

He could ask people if they have seen any sailors. Or if they saw a black car. And play with some kittens. And collect slot machine toys.

I fucking love that game so much. I'm gonna play through it again when I get back from LA.

I have no interest in visiting East Asia. I like traveling in general so I would go for the sake of travel, there are many other places I'd rather visit.

Yeah it all depends on what you're into. To me their culture is the most interesting, people there - they're as unique as it gets. The Japanese people are especially awesome, but I like almost everything about that place except of the food and Kanji everywhere.
As far as places go I guess my next goal would be South America, but thats mainly because of their nature stuff - cool wildlife. Cocaine and kidnapping jokes aside, the South American cultures and East Asian ones are like polar opposites.

You gotta see India. I have just seen the civilized, urban parts. I wanna go to the parts where niggas be shitting on the streets and shit. Just won't shower for a few days and I'll fit right in. So long as I don't talk.
